Avon Solution's Slim and Sleek Leg Perfector evens the skin tone making scars less noticeable. It is backed with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. It works kind of like body make-up, but in time, the ';perfected appearance'; stays. Old scars won't be helped too much with regular scar medicine. Try it!

Theres a gel called Mederma that helps rid you of scars
Well when i had scars from when i was in the hospital i used cocoa butter and vitamin e oil it made the scar lighter on my skin and not as visable......
try Maderma (i think thats how you spell it) it helped my scars go almost completely away hope that helps. oh you can find it at wal-mart or CVS or walgreens
Zenmed system fights whiteheads, blackheads, and even the shiny appearance of acne prone skin. Recommend this product to many of my friends. Try it once and see the difference...
try maderma it is a scar concealer that diminishes the size of scar tissue over time and makes them smaller
Bio Oil - excellent product for reducing scars.
I've read that Mederma really works.

Try something from Arbonne! The anti-aging line is great for dry skin! What are the best skin care products for people in their 20's?
If you are looking for home remedy to reduce wrinkles, try this.

Smear honey on your face and leave it for as long as possible (but 5-10mins a day will do). then rinse off with tepid water mixed with a teaspoon of cider vinegar - this has a neutral pH and will act as a toner.

And if you have some bucks, Lifecell anti wrinkle cream would be a good choice. You can have more information here.

I would say you work more hard on the homemade mask that will be ';free'; as you just take from your foods as ingredient , I have a few different types of homemade mask in my blog, should have some useful for you, you can take a look at http://antiaging-skin-care-tips.blogspot鈥?/a>

What are your favorite skin care products?

I have pretty good skin, I don't really get bad breakouts...maybe a spot every once in awhile. It's just sometimes my skin has a dull quality to it, and sometimes it gets a bit dry. Any suggestions? What are your favorite skin care products?

Drink lots of water. Basically eat healthy. I have dry skin so i use a cream face soap (Dove). For around the eyes i will dab olive oil. This is great for wrinkles. The moisturizer i use is made by Loreal. Same with the make-up. For many years

i use to spend hundreds of dollars on Lancome products Over the years i have found out that home remedies work just as well. Sometimes i will use Vit. E , just bust open a capsule add to make up or moisturizer. Now I save lots of $ and my skin is always soft %26amp; healthy. Plus Lancome %26amp; Loreal are one in the same company. I also will make my own face scrubs, masks, hair moisturizers, and body scrubs. Brown Sugar and oliver oil mixed is my very favorite, you can add almond oil too. Try it, its great for face and body.
I absolutely LOVE Melba's Paradise Potions. I think she has the best skin care products! My favorite is the Lei Mink Antioxidant/Antiaging Facial Serum. It鈥檚 really made a difference and my face feels so refreshed. Plus it鈥檚 a great price too. You have to try her Satin Sheets hand and body cream, its the most luxourious lotion I have ever tried, it smells great, and its so good for your skin!!
honestly, people have suggested hundreds of products to me for my skin over the years, and having the same skin as you have described, i've only found one product that i'm comfortable with. i use olay daily moisturizer every day after i get out of the shower -- nothing else, and not the oil-free kind. it keeps my skin firm, moisturized but not greasy, and gives it a healthy glow. good luck, hope this works for you!
Get Cetaphil.. It's like the best! There isn't a strong scent, you can wash your face twice a day without irritation and it has a fairly big bottle so you won't have to buy one every month. To make your skin less dry, use moisturizer on your face after you shower.

鈾?Hope I Helped
I use Biore and I like it a lot. And they also have this moisturizer with SPF 15 that makes your skin very soft.
Noxzema is the best!

Has anyone tried these skin care products and know if they work or have suggestions?

Avon Lighten Up for dark circles around the eyes?? has anyone tried this product and seen good results for dark under eye circles?? Or does anyone know a product they tried that worked for under eye circles??

thanks!Has anyone tried these skin care products and know if they work or have suggestions?
I personally cannot use Avon or Mary Kay products ... I have very sensitive skin ... products by Nicole Miller work great for me. I don't have it with me so I'm not sure of the exact name, but Nicole Miller does have a great under eye cream.

Also, for makeup, I use every day minerals and they have a ';concealer'; (called Sunlight) that is specifically for hiding the under eye circles. I have used it and it does work.

Hope this helpsHas anyone tried these skin care products and know if they work or have suggestions?
I have not tried that particular product, but

mark. (Avon's daughter brand) has a new line of skincare products and the Light Bright hook-up - lighten %26amp; depuff eye gel would be perfect for your concern. The ingredients include cucumber, kiwi %26amp; lotus flower which are all great at targeting that problem area. The reviews so far have been very good. And it is very affordable ($8).
no i dont use Avon they test there things on animals

but for your problem try preparation h for hemorrhoids this works it takes swelling down for the other why not the eyes as well and all your fav movie stars use this as well only a small amount is needed and do at night before bed and don't get into eyes and wash hands after give it a try
I use Time to Go capsules from Beauticontrol...they have vitamin K in them and that's supposed to diminish the appearance of under-eye circles. Mine have gone, I don't look so tired anymore. If you need more info on how to get, email me thru here.
if you rubb ice cubes under your eyes for a minute it reduces dark cirlces

You can't go wrong with Neutrogena.
Olay products are great, and there are less expensive generic versions at Target that are just as good and about 1/3 cheaper!
Artistry... You would love it. You cant buy it in the store so you have to contact someone who has access to it but it is rated one of the best in the World...Seriously. I never go a day without using it. Its not just an acne treatment but a wrinkle reducer, tightens skin, it really does wonders!!!

  • What is the best skin care products for a 24 year old?

I am trying to find a new face wash? What do you recommend?

Also, what steps should I be taking as a 24 year old wanting to prevent wrinkles? Any products you recommend?

I have seen the Cindy Crawford line ';meaningful beaty';... but am wondering if that line is thinking too far in advance and is not needed at my age. Please help. What is the best skin care products for a 24 year old?
Sadly, many if not most skin products, and particularly anti aging ones, are skin harming and skin aging and can cause severe irritation, even cause acne and worse.(confirm with a Google). Some have been pulled from market in France because of cancer causing concerns.

Anything that you simply apply to skin is going to help very little, if at all. And so many products`are ridiculously priced - so apart from aging and harming concerns they steal your money also!

I have had truly remarkable success with safe, natural treatments using only modest cost essential oils and massage. This permanently healed my skin conditions and gave me an unbelievably flawless, healthy, young looking and vibrant skin. Daily thorough massaging with oils feed skin essential beneficial nutrients.and even the first day you will see skin looking healthier and starting to glow.

Massaging tightens and firms and gives you a younger looking skin. Most importantly it exercises and conditions many of face (and some neck) muscles - thus combating weakening of muscles that eventually leads to sagging and wrinkling and lines. I give precise instructions how to best massage in my many other answers.

Massage using a forward and back motion using finger tips and front and sides of fingers depending where on face you apply it. Circular motion is less effective. In a few days skin will visibly tighten, look and feel smoother and healthier.

I can send you testimonials from users who swear by the treatment. Use any oil. I had great success with olive oil.

Review some of my other answers for specific proven anti aging remedies that lessen and greatly prevent wrinkles and lines, crows feet, etc

SOURCE(S): 20+ years research into safe, natural treatments and cures for skin conditions, skin enhancement and anti aging/rejuvenation treatments. What is the best skin care products for a 24 year old?
Your major challenges are staying out of the sun, especially since you're hitting the age where melasma becomes a problem, and keeping your skin hydrated.

I'd suggest using the Dove moisturizing cleanser and facial moisturizer. Put moisturizer on your skin both before you get ready in the morning and before you go to bed at night. When you take a shower or wash your face, pat the excess moisture off, but then work in your moisturizer to capture that water that soaked into your skin.

If you need color in your skin, still use a strong SPF on your face and stay away from both the sun and tanning spas. Use a tinted moisturizer instead, plus a subtle bronzer. Sun is the enemy of skin and is the quickest way to get wrinkles and permanent skin damage. When I was 42 and went to my 25 year HS reunion, it was shocking to see how utterly old and saggy so many of the ';sun goddesses'; from HS looked. I was stuck listening to all the horror stories of skin cancer, Botox and laser treatments. There were a dozen of us who were constantly told how young we looked. Strangely, we all had the same secrets...no tanning and lots of moisturizer. Think about it.

What are the basic skin care products a guy should use?

What are the absolute basic skin care products that a guy should use? I'm not really sure of my skin type, but since I used to have bad acne, and occasionally get isolated pimples even now, I'm guessing I have oily skin. Unfortunately, I can't make sense of all the information I find on the 'net (exfoliants, cleansers, toners, moisturisers, etc.), so I'm wondering what the absolute minimum treatment should be.What are the basic skin care products a guy should use?
Minimum: a cleanser with salysilic acid in it. Anti bacterial specifically for the face. Also, oil-free moisturizer with sunscreen. If you start now and do this you will have amazing skin. You don't need to exfolliate--unless you are old w./ dry skin or really bad acne. Shaving is enough exfolliation. Don't worry about toner, get a good gel cleanser for the face with anit-bacteria properties. Gel cleanser gives your skin a nice, tight feeling. What are the basic skin care products a guy should use?
well i guess you have a combination skin though because one of the big reason for acne to happen is because your skin is dry on your cheeks and oily on other areas but the inner oil glands are not able to push the toxins out hence acne occurs. i would recommend you to use a face wash, toner and moisturiser as a basic. However, its not what you use, sometimes its the brand. i would say clinique for men is good. my husband use to have many of those pimple and acne problems and because im using clinique i recommended him as well and now he is cured. maybe you can seek opinion with the consultant at the counter and they will teach you accordingly. no harm asking for samples to try for a month :) it may help
    there are three steps.

    cleanse.

    tone.

    moisturize.

    weekly exfoliation.

for a guy, basically i know you would never being doing all of this but you deff. need to be cleansing twice a day. try some products like basic cream/foam cleansers and if you dint like them try something with a gentle scrub in it.

i would also advise you to buy a toner, i use netrogena pore cleaner or something, its a clear bottel with blue liquid. use this if you notice your starting to break out, it really helps me ( i have oily skin with the occasional break out). Also buy a moisturizer if you ever feel your skin being dry, or after you tone. Just buy a basic one, maybe with some spf if you'll use it in the morning before you go outside.

    hope this helps
I know how you feel with all the technical advice on how products work and what to do. Here are two simple bits of advice that I have learned when is comes to many things, especially making a decision on our personal health choices. Skin care choices are very critical to our overall health - good or bad.

Point 1: Choose natural when you can. Food, skin care, etc.

Synthetic ingredients in most skin care products are potentially very harmful. Many people do not know this but it is true. i.e. Parabens - an ingredient used in skin care and some food as a preservative has been found in breast cancer patients. Men get breast cancer too.

Point 2: Choose a source that you can trust. Friends or companies.

Most companies are more concerned with their profit statements than your long term health.

Here is an article that will get you thinking along the lines of the above. This source has all natural products (point 1) is honest and does care about their customers (point 2).

The article helped me get on the right track and how to simplify my skin care program. I shave, cleanse and hydrate as they suggest. It is that simple. (Women have more of a challenge but they have women's products too. My wife couldn't be happier with their skin care line.)

The article mainly talks about ingredients. But unless you use ingredients that are natural, safe and effective you will lose in the long run. Here is the article. Go to their website: http://www.XtendSkinCare.com Sign up for their newsletter. Follow their advice. I am happy that I do.

    Man Skin Care Secret Ingredients

For every man skin care is an important daily ritual, similar to brushing your teeth. Obviously, it’s important to you, or you wouldn’t have made this search. Let me tell you about the best solutions for male skin care products on the market today.

Male skin care products have entered a new age. Some companies now realize that it is not only women who care about their looks.

Of course, there are still far fewer “man skin care products” than there are for a woman, but at least you have more options than you used to. If you shave, spend a lot of time outdoors or work in a dirty environment, then you are far more likely to have excessive redness and inflammation.

If you don’t get enough rest or are under a lot of stress, you may have dark circles and bags under your eyes in the morning. If you take a little extra time every day and choose the right male skin care creams, you can take care of all of those problems, before they become permanent signs of aging. Look for Men's Eye Contour Gel.

Man Skin Care Ingredients to AVOID

First, there are some things that you should avoid and they are common ingredients in average man skin care. Just about every after shave cream on the market contains alcohol. Even drug store witch hazel only contains a small amount of the extract. The rest is alcohol.

There’s alcohol in your cologne, your body wash and probably your shampoo. It may be a powerful antiseptic and antibacterial agent, but it’s very drying and is, therefore, bad for your skin’s health.

It increases redness and irritation. You know it burns when you use it on a cut or an area burned by your razor. So, stop using it. The best male skin care creams don’t contain it.

    Beneficial Male Skin Care Ingredients

Every day, after you shave, use a cream that contains witch hazel extract, vitamin B5, capuacu butter and grape seed oil. You will find it soothing and refreshing. If the man skin care cream that you have chosen also contains Functional Keratin, you have chosen one of the best. Look for Men's Facial Fluid.

    Look For This Ingredient

Functional Keratin is the brand name of a new ingredient that reduces redness and inhibits the inflammatory process, completely. It is so similar to the skin’s own keratin (an amino acid protein) that your body can’t tell the difference. So, it absorbs it, and uses it to create new skin cells, collagen and elastin fibers.

The only preservative that belongs in male skin care products is natural vitamin E. It is a component of grape seed oil, but additional quantities should be included. Vitamin E is one of the most powerful antioxidants. Stay away from products that have 'paraben' as an ingredient.

Antioxidants inhibit the oxidative process that causes signs of aging. It’s really the same process that causes metal to rust when left outdoors. But, instead of rusting, your epidermis, the outermost of the skin’s layers, becomes wrinkled, dried and cracked. If male skin care products contain adequate amounts of antioxidants and moisturizers, you can stop the rust and even reverse the signs of age.

You can’t turn back the clock, but if you choose the right man skin care products, you can almost look like you did.

And now visit my website listed below on how this information will help you find the best male skin care products.

    And now I wou

This question all depends on the photographer, and the quality that you are willing to spend to get (let's face it, quality costs some money).

Have you heard of Arbonne they have skin products for every type of skin. I am getting a lot of good feedback on these products and I myself love them. I have sensitive and combination skin so I have tried pratically all the products out there until someone introduced me to Arbonne and I love them..... again everyone has their own preferences!

    The products are :

    *botanically based

    *ph correct

    *hypoallergenic

    *dermatologist tested

    *never tested on animals

*formulated without animcal products or by-products

*formualted without mineral: occlusive oil can interfere with skin functions as well as advanced delivery systems

*formulated without dyes or chemical fragrances

These products are wonderful because they don't strip the skin especially from harsh alcohols and chemicals.

My recommendation from this line is using the Intelligence Line or their Anti-aging line that is great for Normal to Oily skin for acne there is Clear Advantage 4 system that works great too.

Did you know ';Peppermint'; helps to open pores and allows them to be cleansed from the inside. This means pores appear to be smaller giving you a more youthful appearance.

Neutrogena's great. I also use proacvtive, but I stopped using it for a while because it dried out the skin underneath my eyebrows causing it to flake. A few months ago I started using it again but it seems to have lost its effect on my skin. I'm holding out though just in case. Good luck!

I just recieved my new Clinique Acne Solutions from ordering it online. I have always loved Clinique, but I started to break out and I saw that they came out with new Acne system so I had to try it. I love it. It isn't as harsh as Proactiv because it's soap/toner are made with salysic acid. The 3rd step is a benzoyl peroxide lotion and that's what really treats blemishes.

I have naturally normal/oily skin and when I wake up my skin is really oily. Only a week ago I got it and since then i've woken up with dramatically less-oily skin and my blemishes are going away and my skin isn't dry.
    Panoxyl is the best.
I have 3 daughters, ages 18, 16 and 13. They all have different skin types and all have problems with acne and breakouts. The severity also ranges from mild to heavy breakouts. I came across a product that is all naturally based, no chemicals, no additives and not toxic. It is very mild, non drying, and I have seen the best results with this product like I have not seen with all the multiple acne medications we have tried. Yes. http://www.sunflowernaturals.com/

I do it all the time.

    ADDED:

I haven't had even one complaint, let alone a lawsuit, in over 15 years of selling products. Just make sure you know what you're doing. Natural is easy - most of the ingredients are edible. And there is plenty of scientific evidence to back up the fact that natural works - and works better - than conventional! Once people try my products they never go back to the comparable conventional products. Is it possible to make and sell homemade skin care products?
Yes I believe you can as long as the ingredients are listed on it. Good luck!
The liability is huge! Mary Kay did start out that way but it was a different time with much less cost to start up. You need to do a lot of research because in some states like CA you can't sell products that contain certain natural components without FDA approval.

Many beauty products on the market have harmful chemicals in them; do your favorite beauty products contain any of these things?:

    * Mineral Oil, Paraffin, and Petrolatum – Petroleum products that coat the skin like plastic, clogging pores and creating a build-up of toxins, which in turn accumulate and can lead to dermatologic issues. Slows cellular development, which can cause you to show earlier signs of aging. Suspected cause of cancer. Disruptive of hormonal activity. By the way, when there’s an oil spill in the ocean, don’t they rush to clean it up – fast? Why put that stuff on your skin?

    * Parabens – Widely used as preservatives in the cosmetic industry (including moisturizers). An estimated 13,200 cosmetic and skin care products contain parabens. Studies implicate their connection with cancer. They have hormone-disrupting qualities – mimicking estrogen – and interfere with the body’s endocrine system.

    * Phenol carbolic acid– Found in many lotions and skin creams. Can cause circulatory collapse, paralysis, convulsions, coma and even death from respiratory failure.

    * Propylene glycol – Used as a moisturizer in cosmetics and as a carrier in fragrance oils. Shown to cause dermatitis, kidney or liver abnormalities, and may inhibit skin cell growth or cause skin irritation.

    * Acrylamide– Found in many hand and face creams. Linked to mammary tumors in lab research.

    * Sodium laurel or lauryl sulfate (SLS), also known as sodium laureth sulfate (SLES)– Found in car washes, engine degreasers, garage floor cleaners… and in over 90% of personal care products! SLS breaks down the skin’s moisture barrier, easily penetrates the skin, and allows other chemicals to easily penetrate. Combined with other chemicals, SLS becomes a “nitrosamine”, a potent class of carcinogen. It can also cause hair loss. * Toluene – Poison! Danger! Harmful or fatal if swallowed! Harmful if inhaled or absorbed through the skin. Made from petroleum or coal tar, and found in most synthetic fragrances. Chronic exposure linked to anemia, lowered blood cell count, liver or kidney damage, and may affect a developing fetus. Butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) contains toluene. Other names may include benzoic and benzyl.

    * Dioxane– Found in compounds known as PEG, Polysorbates, Laureth, ethoxylated alcohols. Common in a wide range of personal care products. The compounds are usually contaminated with high concentrations of highly volatile 1,4-dioxane, easily absorbed through the skin.

Dioxane’s carcinogenicity was first reported in 1965 and later confirmed in studies including one from the National Cancer Institute in 1978. Nasal passages and liver are the most vulnerable. Dioxane is easily removed during the manufacturing process by “vacuum stripping”.

Warning: It is a synthetic derivative of coconut. Watch for hidden language on labels, such as “comes from coconut”.

IF SO, you should throw them away IMMEDIATELY and substitute virgin/extra virgin olive oil or a natural coconut oil to moisturize in the meantime until you find a better alternative!!! Tell ALL your friends and family!!!
Yes, and I'm working on possible doing that in the near future.

Which type of skin care products should I be using on a daily basis?

I'm 27 years old and I'd like to know which products I should be using, particularly for my face. Which products are the best to use that won't put a dent in my wallet?

Which type of skin care products should I be using on a daily basis?
it all depends on your skin type as to what products you should use but the basics that everyone should use is a cleanser toner moisturizer exfoliater, eye cream and sunscreen.you should be cleansing morning and night following with toner then eye cream and moisturizer then sunscreen in the morning.you should exfoliate 2-3 times a week. your only 27 you dont need anti aging products yet.you dotn really need to start using them until your in your thirties. i love dermalogica products. you might think it is expensive at first but i worked it that it costs like a coffee a day(for all those products). there products tend to last at least 6 months or more for the size that you would get at the drug store. and are way better for the skin.the skin is our largest organ in our body so why wouldnt we want to take the best care of it that we can.!Which type of skin care products should I be using on a daily basis?
There are a lot of skin care products out there that will say that they will do this and that for your skin, but few really address it's unique, specific needs. I found this awesome line of skin care products that is actually based on your DNA, so it's extremely personalized and works well with the specific needs of your skin.

It's from a company called GeneWize, a wholly owned direct-selling subsidiary of a publically traded genetic biosciences company (GeneLink, Inc.) that uses DNA-based genetic tests as the basis for personalizing health, beauty, wellness products. You can find it here: http://www.dnagenewizescience.com/.

The LifeMap Nutrition鈩?System is the first customized nutritional and optimal health system where nutritional supplement ingredients and products are genetically matched to an individual's DNA.

I've been using it for a while and it really has done wonders for my skin. I recommend it that you try it especially if your skin has special needs.

    http://www.dnagenewizescience.com/

You should definitely be using a sunscreen, it doesnt matter if you work indoors or never see the sun. Maybe a sunscreen specifically developed for use on the face (so it doesnt clog your pores).

It will pay off in years to come, its the best long term anti-ageing product.
Olay products work really well and they are pretty affordable!

What kind of skin care products should I use?

I'm 25 and I have aging but acne prone skin. I'm having a hard time finding a skin care regiment that works for my weird skin type. Any suggestions? What kind of skin care products should I use?
You may want to take a look at this site: http://www.makeupproducts.com/skin-care-鈥?/a> it has product reviews of different skin care products, ranging from acne treatments to anti-aging products. Not only does the site have product reviews but it also has a variety of brand names and products to choose from if you are interested in finding out other information about different skin care or makeup products.

What are some good Skin Care Products that will surley make your skin clear?

I can have bad breaks outs. I have tryed clearisal but that didnt work. I have clean and clear and under control but that isnt the bestt.!!!

I NEED HELPPP PLEASEE HELp!What are some good Skin Care Products that will surley make your skin clear?
Most Neutrogena products work really well. And there's always Proactiv, which works pretty well too. And if you use those and your breakouts go away, get the wave. :] I have it and it helps prevent my breakouts. What are some good Skin Care Products that will surley make your skin clear?
I bought my daughter proactive and it works fairly well but it pulls all of the poison out first so you have to deal with the bad before the good. I have always had not-so-great skin so it has always been a battle for me.
Try any of St.Ives scrubs %26amp; facewashes, trust me i've been using them for over a year, i used to have real bad spotty skin, but after using it for about 2 weeks my skin was VERY noticably clearer. :)
OK, if your break outs are bad and nothing is working then definitely ask your health care professional or dermatologist about retin-a, doxycycline (a form of tetracycline; a pill you take that STOPS break outs.), and Differin. They are all prescription and they all work great.

As for washing your face, use Cetaphil! It's a soft bar soap that cleans your skin without drying it out. You can get it anywhere and it's recommended by my dermatologist!

    Good luck!
well i had some skin problems

and those drug store products do not work very well

if you have pretty bad skin

i recommend trying proactive (it works for some)

but if you have the money

theres this stuff called MD forte

which works well but it is a bit more than proactive
The best line for skin care is Peter Thomas Roth.I promise you there is nothing better. You can buy it online or at Ulta.

the best advice i can give you is it to somewhere like boots or debenhams and speak to one of the skin care staff, although i have never had spots i did use to have dry skin that peeled on my nose all the time after using several high street brands such as nuetrogena etc, i went to a clinique stand where they matched the skin care products to my skin and its amazing, i now even use their make up range too! Although the skin care products are slightly more than others they do last for months and in my opinion they are worth the price tag.
    your eritrian? so am i!

  • Any good skincare tips or skin care products that you know of?

I have combination skin, and the top of my nose has blackheads.

I was wondering if there was any way to minimize the appearance?

I mean, I'd rather invest in a good skin care product than a foundation that makes the problem worse.

Thanks for your time!Any good skincare tips or skin care products that you know of?
I love Queen Helene Mint Julep face mask. It helps shrink the pores on your nose and blackheads go away. It's only a few dollars at any drug store.Any good skincare tips or skin care products that you know of?
I hear you. Foundation only makes my skin worse.

I use Olay Acne Wash. At one time I had a blackhead scrub that also exfoliated the skin. Just look in your local drugstore for something.

If your skin is a combination then you might try skin ID by neutragena.

    http://www.skinid.com/econsumer/clearski鈥?/a>
I know this may sound stupid or too commonly used, but seriously drink water. Drink as much as five to seven glasses of water each day. I didn't believe it until I gave it a chance and know my skin has gotten smoother and cleaner.

Remember to wash your face in the morning and night too! I usually do this thing with my face I call frostbite. I use a clean cloth and rinse it with cold water and wash my face with it. When your face dries, it will become kind of cold and kind of stiff.

After use a clean and clear sensitive skin deep cleaning formula (it's blue) and it helped me a lot. Just remember to use a clean cotton ball or a cotton swab and put some of the formula on it and scrub gently on places you would like to clean. After, wait about a minute and rinse with mild water. When you wake up, wash your face and use the clean and clear wash if needed.

Oh ya, remember not to drink water before you sleep because it can cause panda eyes (dark circles).

i really like proactive. But i also like any sort of apricot scrub. As far as foundation goes its true it always makes the problem worse. However, i use Dinair Airbrush Makeup and its all water based so its not bad for your skin. its the only foundation that i found that has not made my skin worse off.
i have tryed pretty much all the acne skincare items everything from proactive and skinID to what you can buy in the drug stores nothing worked

untill I tryed the avenno products that say helps prevent breakouts not my skin is soft and clear and a more even skin tone
I agree with rstanley, Queen Helene mint julep, this is what I been using for the past couple of month's and it is incredible how great it works. My skin looks 1000 times better.. Try it, you want be disappointed at all.. Good Luck to you!!!
I use AcneFree it's amazing it works just like Proactiv..But Cheaper for like $20.00. My skin is free of acne and the toner is clearing my acne scars, And as far as the blackheads Queen Helene Mint Julep face mask works very well for those.
If you're young, look into Clean Start. If you're older, look into some of Dermalogica's mediBac products and/or their Age Smart line. It's pricier than what you'd find at the store, but it's 1000x better.

Are there any all natural skin care products that work similarly to Differin?

I'm looking for an all natural (no chemicals, parabens, preservatives) acne product that works the same /similarly to Differn. I'm ont Differin right now and it works okay but I'm looking to switch to all natural products. Are there any all natural skin care products that work similarly to Differin?
**I researched/experimented for a long time and found this safe, natural cure was a truly effective way to quickly and permanently rid face of pimples, black and white heads, etc. It also reduces large pores and and completely gets rid of scars. See the happy answer from ';Jasmin'; below ##

Vigorous massage using essential oils works wonders - sweet almond, grape seed and, particularly rosewood, have been used by skin specialists to treat and cure acne. They do not clog, and they actually diminish skin's over production of oil. Rosewood should be diluted with grapeseed

    .

So as not to pull/stretch skin, first tighten by opening mouth 3/4'; and pull lips firrmly back against teeth. Do a forward and back massage - not circular - using tips and front of fingers and sometimes palms - depending where on face you apply. For quickest results do for 15 to 20 min daily (Doesn't have to be all in one session). Skin will start to clear and pores will reduce in as little as 2 to 3 days and see better results day by day. Scars take longer but can also be completely got rid of overtime.

My severe skin conditions started healing simply by stopping using skin harming products. I now only use a pure natural bar(tablet) soap with no coloring, no perfumes, no additives of any kind. Many moisturizers are harmful. Oils are perfect and safe, natural moisturizers. They do not leave face oily. Do not remove - splash with water and dab dry with tissues.

    ## My advice? LISTEN TO MUKUNDA M!!! He knows what he's talking about. I directly emailed him because he's gotten so many Best Answers for skincare topics. I've been doing the oil treatment for a little more than 3 weeks and I can't tell you how absolutely fantastic the results are. Seriously. You will not be disappointed';

Differin is going to be stronger than any natural product you try so I advise you not to switch. Prescription products tend to be the best treatment for acne. You will get better results with prescription strength products. if its not working well..tell yiour dermatologist and he/she will put you ona different prescription product. and teh only natural product taht i heard of for acne is Boscia.

But I REALLY REALLY advise against switching from a prescribed regimen. Prescription products are the strongest products out there.
Aveeno, I love it and I use it everyday. All natural and all natural stuff works better for me than anything. After I used it I started to use all natural products.

Visit your local holistic or natural foods store. Many offer classes on how to do this. The essential oils and base ingredients can, most times, be purchased there also. I have several links to online suppliers at home (sshh.... I'm at work) and will edit my answer once I get there.

You may want to try Nu Skin Nutricentials. They are probably the most nutural and best skincare products on the market today. Go to http://www.co2intl.nsedreams.com and check out the products.
I recommend to use dermaE because is the best organic skin care I ever tried and is not expensive, like other brands. I don麓t recommend Burt's bee because lives my skin dry and I break out every time I use there products. dermaE.com

cetaphil products are good and safe for all skin types, both there skin creams and face wash is highly recommended, also st.ives apricot skin scrub is really very good for exfoliating your skin. and don't forget to drink water to stay hydrated.
Pretty much anything Neutrogena, and get something that says for normal/oily skin or blackheads.

For an exfoliater, you could get a St. Ives one, but don't use that more than once a day if your skin is very sensitive or dries out quickly.

These things aren't to expensive either...
I have an awesome product that has worked for me! It's Microdermabrasion from Mary Kay! Email me at ilike2shop@marykay.com and we can set you up with a Mary Kay facial. How often should I change my skin care products?

I am using Clinique line for over 12months. I was wondering after a certain time is the product not anymore effective as it was in the beginning? How often should I change my skin care products?
If the product is continuing to work for you then theres no need to change to a different product. Our skin has a memory and if you change soaps or anything it will know and you can actually have irritated skin or even blemishes from switching until you're adjusted all over again- so if clinique is still working for you, thats great and you're lucky to have a product you like. Use it as long as you can!How often should I change my skin care products?
The general rule is that products expire after a year so you might want to toss those out and get new ones. Also Proactiv works well too and comes with a handy expiration date.
if u like wat ur usin then theres no need to change it unless its not helpin or it got expired

What order should i use these skin care products?

I have mild acne and following my face wash, i use a combination of the following:

    Toner;

    Moisturizer;

    Benzoyl Peroxide; and

    Differin gel at night.

I'm wondering what is the best order to apply these products. What order should i use these skin care products?
    1. Benzoyl Peroxide

    2. Toner

    3. Moisturizer (Daytime)/Differin Gel (Nightime)

I don't know if you really need both the toner and the peroxide. Be careful not to overdo, as you can dry your skin out too much without improving the acne.

What skin care products do you use on your baby?

Just curious what kind of lotions and creams and cleansers everyone else useson their babies/toddlers. I am also interested if anyone makes their own. We use Johnson's Shea and Cocoa Butter Baby Wash and Lotion. It smells sooo good and moisturizers for 24 hours. Just a note: we had been using the lavender and chamomile when our youngest was small, but hadn't never read the back of it. It says that if the child has allergies it could make them worse. If we would have read the label, it would have saved some allergy trouble with him, considering he has really bad ones. What skin care products do you use on your baby?
I use Johnson's baby lotion on my baby, I use Gentle Naturals body wash for my toddler she has bad ezcema.
I love the Avene line with cold cream especially for sensitive babies http://www.aveneusa.com/consumers/soothe鈥?/a> It is paraben free. Check out the health food store too for lines like California Baby, Weleda (great oil) and of course Burts Bees. Plain olive oil would work well too, but just use a tiny bit as it tends to stain things.
I'm a mother of two with one on the way. I use and love Arbonne's Baby Care (ABC) for all of my children. I also give out gift sets to my friends and families that have small children or are expecting because I know that it's the very best for young and sensitive skin. Babies鈥?skin is prone to dryness and is easily irritated by ingredients such as fragrance and mineral oil that are found in many baby care products on the market. The ABC products provide intense moisture and assist the skin鈥檚 ability to retain moisture. Arbonne鈥檚 ABC line of products are:

    鈥? Botanically-based and pH correct

    鈥? Pediatrician and dermatologist tested

    鈥? Non-sensitizing, non-irritating

鈥? Formulated without nut oils, mineral oil, or fragrance

鈥? Tear-free hair and body wash

    鈥? Not tested on animals

    鈥? Sunscreen provides broad-spectrum protection

    Johnson and Johnson is great

For dry skin I would use shea butter
I love Aveeno, skin relief body wash. It has natural colloidal oatmeal in it, Very Nice, works great. Me and my son use it for lots of little irritations. Hope that helps.
    Johnsons
I use Aveeno for my oldest who has eczema and very sensitive skin, and Johnson's bedtime bath for my youngest.
Both our kids have very sensitive skin. We stear clear of any thing with soap in it. As for eczema cream i would recomend a product available over the internet. It is called David Hosking's hypoallergenic face and body balm. It has worked wonders on both of my childrens eczema which doctor creams couldn't clear up.

    I have 3 boys, 12 years 9 years and 15 monthes.

For my youngest, baby oil when skin is still wet after bath, then lather on johnsons bedtime lotion.

For my 9 year old, baby oil while skin is still wet and vaseline or dove lotion.

For 12 year old, baby oil while skin is still wet, vaseline or dove lotion.

    Hope that helps. xoxo
I have also heard of warm olive oil too. For my baby I use johnson's bed time bath and lotion. I use a smidge of baby oil in the hair. For shampoo I use the johnson's lavender stuff. Then for diaper rash prevention I use palmers bottom butter. Not sure what to use on eczema. See if you can find something w/o a scent/dye. Look for something natural maybe bath and body works.

I currently use shoppers life brand moisturizer and facial scrub, its not bad and I have seen a difference in the short while that I have been using it. My skin is not oily anymore and its smoother to. I just wanted to know what other good products are out there for men. What are good skin care products for men?

What brand of skin care products do you use?

And do you use them twice a day? Would you prefer to be using something else, that might be a little bit beyond your budget? Or do you think it really doesn't matter what you use, just as long as you use it?What brand of skin care products do you use?
Soap, water and Edge shaving cream are my facial regime. What brand of skin care products do you use?
I personally prefer and highly recommend Aveeno. It's such a gentle line of products so it works well with my dry skin. I use their Skin Brightening daily scrub in the morning along with their Positively Radiant moisturizer with spf 30 and at night I wash with their Clear Complexion creme cleanser.

I've tried several other products both expensive and cheap, none of them have done for me what Aveeno has done for me.

I don't think the price of the product matters but what's in it, your skin type and how the product reacts to your skin is very important.
I use Proactiv however Im thinking about the new skin id. I like proactiv it works but my skin is to dry right now and it is only drying my skin out more. Im only using it once a day because of the dry skin but I have used it twice a day everyday.
i use Clean%26amp;Clear Morning burst in the morning.

And at night i use Neutrogena Grapefruit stuff.

I don't think price matters all that much, but it really depends how your skin is affected by it.
    Clearasil Pads in the morning.

Are there any good natural skin care products that really work?

I would like to find a moisturizing lotion for my face that is natural and good for my skin. I have normal to slightly dry skin. It can be somewhat sensitive to some products, but is not prone to blemishes, just sometimes a little redness or rash that goes away. Ironically, the products that will cause this are often the ones that claim to make skin younger looking. Are there any good natural skin care products that really work?
Have you tried alcohol-free Aloe Vera? My husband and I both like it. He works outdoors and his face gets dry and chapped. The aloe has no scent and adds just the right amount of moisture and isn't greasy.

Vitamin E is sold in small bottles at local drug stores. Use that for extra moisture.

Olive Oil is also good for dry skin.

I use a simple oatmeal mask 2-3 times a week on my face.

Mix warm water or milk with small amount of quick cooking plain oatmeal. It should be a soft paste. Apply to your face and let it dry for about 10 minutes.

If it gets too dry add olive oil to the mix before applying. Moisturize with Aloe.

My face feels so soft and clean after I use it.

Hope some of these ideas help you.Are there any good natural skin care products that really work?
I really like the cetaphil moisturizing cream. I would also try using extra virgin olive oil as a night time moisturizer (don't be scared by the oil thing, it doesn't make you break out)

What is the best skin care products for oily skin?

I'm about to go to the store and I want to know what skin care products work best for oily skin.

Around my mouth my skin is very dry, though, so if you know of a good moisturizer that would be great too. What is the best skin care products for oily skin?
Ok... I know it sounds weird... but here is my routine...

I went out and bought a cleanser that advertises that it ';fights oil.'; I find that alot of products advertise that they ';won't dry you out'; and ';get rid of dead skin.'; But I guess oily skin isn't that common, because I need some SERIOUS help. Fortunately, I don't get too many breakouts or blemishes, I get so shiny during the day, that I can wipe my fingers across my forehead, and my fingers will be shiny! I've recently been doing something odd though... but it seems to be working,

At night before bed, I just use the cleanser that I bought (I buy a different one every time, to see which one I like - but my favorite so far is Biore's ';ICE CLEANSER'; or ';shine control'; - they're in green bottles with a pump on the top). I get dry around the mouth and corners of my nose too - I just rub some moisturizer ON THOSE AREAS. Moisturizer tends to make me even more oily, and I have read online many times, that it's best to only use a minimal amount, on areas that NEED it. I've been experimenting with an uncommon product lately though. Toothpaste. Just dab it on any blemishes you may have.

BUT in the daytime, like when getting ready for work (just ONCE a day)... I wash my face with toothpaste... I know, I can picture your face. It's weird. But I suggest that you try it at least once. Just rub it on, avoiding your eyes, and try to build up a lather. Then, without water, use a small amount of your face soap and wash it off. Rinse. It is the coolest feeling ever. It makes your skin feel GREAT. Don't do it too often though, because it can dry you out too much. But seriously, even if you don't pick this as best answer TRY IT TRY IT TRY IT. It's awesome.

I've had oily skin forever. And nothing helps me. Even things like toners and astringent seem to make it worse, and I dunno why! Lemme know if it works for you too! :)

As for makeup - powder is great to eliminate shine. Also, if when you go into a bathroom, check yourself in a mirror - if you see shine building up, simply press a paper towel up to your face. LOOK AT IT. It absorbs the oil right off of your skin. This works wonders. What is the best skin care products for oily skin?

I have oily skin too :( it sux but theres this product by Benefit called Dr Feel Good that works really well. It actually almost looks like candle wax LOL but u apply it with a sponge (included when u buy it) its colorless n smells good too. Its a great mattifier n controls oil. I use it in conjunction with Peter Thomas Roth Max Anti-Shine Mattifying Gel for the oilier areas (in my case: nose) and they work wonders. A bit pricier than drugstore brands but in somes cases u get what u pay for!

Here is an article that my wife and I came across awhile back. It opened our eyes as to what many skin care and other companies are doing and how we just blindly follow along. For your consideration:

How to Find the Best Skin Care Products

What company has the best skincare products? Well, that depends on who you ask. Here's some important points to consider before you make a choice. Some of these points may be of a surprise to you. That is because most consumers do not do the proper research before buying and using a product. Here is some frank results of some research that I have done. You decide what is best.

    WATCH OUT for Harmful Ingredients

In my opinion, the best skincare products should not contain ingredients that either cause or are strongly suspected of causing cancer. But, many of the popular brands do. For example, Neutrogena makes an oil-free foundation that comes in a variety of shades. Ingredients in the product have been linked to cancer, reproductive problems, allergies and a number of other health problems.

Environmental groups have petitioned the cosmetic industry for years to stop using these harmful ingredients. But, since they can’t get legislation past cosmetic industry lobbyists, they decided to give consumers a way to found the safest and best skincare products on their own.

    Read the Label

The EWG created a searchable database called Skin Deep. At the site, they rate the safety of cosmetics based on the ingredients that they contain. You might think that Avon has the best skincare products, but if you go to the Skin Deep site, you will learn that Avon’s skin clearing lotion contains ingredients that have been linked to cancer, as well as skin, eye and lung irritation.

As far as safety is concerned, the best skincare products are made by companies that have signed the CSC’s “compact for global production of safe health and beauty products”. The CSC also has a searchable data base where you can see if your favorite companies have signed the compact.

    Big Names – Big Prices

I decided to look for some of the most expensive designer names, because, of course they claim to have the best skincare products How about Christian Dior? No, apparently the company does not believe that a product that you use on your skin everyday should be safe.

I had always thought that designers like Helena Rubenstein, Elizabeth Arden, Estee Lauder, Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent had the best skincare products, since the prices were so high. My sister used to use only Elizabeth Arden cosmetics and fragrances. But, none of these designer names are on the safe list.

You might think that the names that we “trust” the most would definitely sign the compact and be “pro” safety. But, I looked for Ponds, Vaseline, Clinique, Revlon and Proctor %26amp; Gamble. Obviously, they don’t make the safest and best skincare products, because, thus far, they have refused to sign the compact.

What does the compact ask companies to do? Simply to meet the formulation standards and deadlines set by the European Union Directive in 2004, to replace hazardous compounds with safer alternatives within the next three years. It doesn’t seem like much to ask of a cosmetic company. You know why they won’t do it?

    It’s the Money

Safer ingredients cost more. They would have to raise the prices on some of their already outrageously high priced products or cut their advertising budget. Most of these companies would not survive without advertising. Their products are not good enough to have a “word of mouth” reputation.

My wife and her friends are having good luck with NuSkin's galvanic spa. I don't know a whole lot about it, except I see her skin looking younger and wrinkles going away. She has tried it on me, but I'm just not consistent enough. I hate to spend time on my face.

My wife could tell you more of how it works.
My mom is a huge fan of Paula's Choice products. They aren't too expensive and she's been really happy with the results. She really likes the lightening cream for dark spots too. You might want to check it out!

Arbonne! If you dont like it you can get your money back!!What are the best skin care products for sensitive skin?
Neutrogena face wipes and moisturiser for sensitive skin. It is great for me!

Mind you Iuckily I am rarely bothered with spots.
    I use Eucerin Moisturizer.

It moisturizes the skin, is non-greasy, and evens out skin tone.

    It also doesn't irritate skin.
Cetaphil is great for sensitive skin.
With sensitive skin you want to stay away from any product that has coloring, fragrances and chemical preservative. Lots of products have coloring and fragrances, which are harmful to your skin.

If you stick with that criteria, you'll get great results!
sensetive skin and acne verry much relatrd to sesetive gut one of the causes stress and sugers altough food does not cause acne but certain ones that your body not tollerating can agrivates it like wheat sugers deeply fried food as the oil get over heated it gives you silent inflamation from its toxin you realy need to look into your life style eat more vegetables and drink 2lt of water a day dont waste your money have a skin consultation if you are in london body care multi therapy clinic to help you tell 02072624443
I suffer from the same skin problem - I use Simple pure soap and Simple Light Hydrating Moisturiser. They are non-perfumed and non-coloured - ideal for sensitive skin. These products dont feel too heavy on your skin and dont cost much money either.
if you want something form a drugstore buy clean and clear control cleanser with the clean and clear advantage oil-free moisturizer. use only at night and apply the moisturizer in the morning. dont use bad makeup! an awesome powder is physicians formula mineral loose powder. it helps sensitive and acne prone skin. another thing you can do is go with all natural cleansers. try zyporex, its all natural and just for acne. it gives you a really clean feeling. natural can be the best thing because it doesnt contain harsh chemicals that can irritate your face rather than help.
hi there i have extremely sensitive skin and i have to be really careful so i use dermalogica or virgin v. they are both really good slightly more expensive but they are worth it.
nivea, i also have sensitive skin and i use nivea for men and it's great, Simple is a good product too! hope that helps
Neutrogena, Dermologica, Some clean and clear products for acne, Pro-Activ and Cetaphil.

    Good Luck =]

    Otherwise go to the pharmacy
If you have sensitive skin, do not use facial washes or soap; instead use a light, hypoallergenic cleansing lotion. Use a moisturizer to strengthen your skin and provide a barrier against irritants. Make sure you use an non perfumed moisturizer, which will not irritate your skin.check out http://tipsfromruby-skincare.blogspot.co鈥?/a>
agreed, cetyphil is the best depending on the severity of the sensitivity.

What skin care products are excellent for very dry, scratchy skin?

I have tried a host of lotions, bath soaps, and creams but have yet to find anything that really works for me. I find that in the winter (of course) my skin is very dry and becomes itchy - what can I do to help alleviate this? Is there a product I should be using or a regimen I could follow that might help?

Thanks for your advice! What skin care products are excellent for very dry, scratchy skin?
For face Roc is really good, its made for people with excema or psoriasis, so cleanser, toner and face cream each morning or night, You may also want to get an emoillent face scrub to use a few times a week

-also get a humidifer in your bedroom-not sure if you live in a cold climate like I do but that really helps bc the furnace drys your skin out like crazy and then going in the cold weather doesnt help

-for body, I like dove cream to oil body wash and using a glove exfoliater helps get rid of the dead skin so the lotions can do their job, i find that putting Baby Oil Gel or just baby oil on while im almost finshed my shower works and/or then a body cream with lactic acid in it

-change the detergent that you use to wash your clothes to something really gentle like Ivory, Tide is the worst especially for bath towels, bc there is still traces of it on the towel and when you dry yourself off after a shower your body heat almost reactivates it and it leaves a film on your skinWhat skin care products are excellent for very dry, scratchy skin?
Aveeno products are the best for eveything, except acne.
    Sanex body wash is brilliant.
I have eczema and I use:

-Hydrocortisone (0.5%) which is prescription, for my face.

-Betamethasone valerate cream which is prescription too, for body (it's stronger).

-Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula for everyday use (you can get it anywhere)

    -Dermol 200 Shower Emollient.

    IMO, these are the best.

    Hope I've helped you (:
i use aveeno..it works real well

What skincare products do you use? How much money do you spend on skincare products? What skin care products do you use to keep your skin clear?
I use Aveeno, I spend about $7 every other month for the Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser. Most of the time I buy it on sale before I run out, so I save a dollar or two. And I pick up the Cleansing Pads every few months for during the day when I sweat. What skin care products do you use to keep your skin clear?
It all depends on YOUR skin, not everyone's is the same. but if you go out and try like proactiv or something, and find that it's not working, then tone it down. go down to just washing your face morning and nights only. do a clay mask once a week, drink ALOT of water and whatever you do DONT POP THEM! if you MUST get rid of it, use two q-tips. your fingernails will scar your skin and make it more red.

try using a coldcream, then a toner, then a lotion with benzol proxide acne medi (whatever its called) haha. dont use products that all have the acne medication, it'll most likely dry your skin out, causing your body to produce more oils in that area and give you even more pimples!

to narrow that down.... just don't overdo your washing routine. baby your face, not scrub the fckjclkajc out of it.
atm I am using Neutrogena Deep clean scrub, it's just a tiny sample size coz I'm gonna buy a cleanser from lush soon. I use a nivea moisturizer and a body shop seaweed exfoliator. Since I'm going to a specialist for my skin now I'm not really putting too much effort into choosing good skin care products. Probably.... $25 max. There are lots of good, cheap products out there.
I use the Harnn and Thann line of all natural and paraben free skin care from Thailand. It is a little more expensive but like they say - you get what you pay for. I also like that it is an exclusive line that not many of heard of... (It's not just for men either)

    http://www.canbuy.ca/thann
    $15?

i usually put some toothpaste on my zits. Then I brush my teeth and put my hair up while it works. After words, I use Noxema facial scrub and then rinse with cold water. Then, apply aloe vera gel to face. Then lightly take sea breeze and a few sheets of toliet paper and blot face. It works for me.
all avon products! they're about $7 each for any cleanser, scrub, etc.! they work for my skin, and it keeps my skin clear. its a cheaper alternative that works compared to other stuff!
i use netrougena acne scrub.awesome stuff.
