Are Mary Kay skin care products good for the skin?

Will they improve the look of my skin? Your thoughts. Are Mary Kay skin care products good for the skin?
yes to me it is a good product for men and women it takes rinkles of your skin your can a product that takes off your dry skin and you can get more products so ya i think it is a good product for any gender!!Are Mary Kay skin care products good for the skin?
Mary Kay is a try before you buy product with a 100% guarentee so why not try for yourself and see? I have been using it for about 10 years and loved the new timewise line so much I stated my MK business 3 years ago. As to the comment about it being old I will just say that is incorrect yes we have been around for over 40 years but that doesn't me we don't stay current with the times.
Mary Kay is an ';old'; brand so it has not kept up with the times with new formulas, I highly recommend Bee Luscious Cosmetics, they are innovative and have amazing products.

Their skincare line has truly done wonders for my skin and of my two daughters.
I would check out Kara Vita Skin Care. These products are up do date with the world.

They are FDA regulated. Meaning the products cannot be sold unless the FDA certifies that they do what they claim to do.

Also Kara Vita has a patented delivery system. Lyphazome, all product with this technology are guarantied to last 8 hours, delivering the ingredients to the deepest layer of you skin. This is unlike any skin care company out there.

Please visit www.karavita.com for more information

If you would like a sample please let me know
Yup, real good products. Have been around for a long, long time.
There are a million skin cares out there. 999,990 of them are full of parabens and preservatives. Do a cancer search on parabens and you will throw the stuff in the garbage. I use a 100% paraben free line that my daughter now sells. Water based, 100% hydration which is basically unheard off. I look different on the stuff and am losing wrinkles. The cleanser makes me feel like I was just at a spa and I can use it for life cause its free of chemicals

  • What are some baby skin care products that are good?

what have you found that is a good cream for babies that prevents or treats eczema plus what is a good cream to use to prevent/treat nappy rash. what is a good baby wash that won't dry out a baby's skin or sting the eye's but clean well the baby well. What are some baby skin care products that are good?
I love the Aveeno line of baby products! My son has very sensitive skin and this works for me.

BTW... I must add that a tablespoon of regular corn starch clears away a rash better than anything I have ever used.

Mother of 3What are some baby skin care products that are good?
I used Sudafed cream and would paste it on thick if needed. It doesn't treat the eczema but it helps protect the skin from the wetness of the nappie. Also would change the nappie as often as was needed, the moisture it got, the worse the rash got. On really bad rash days i would change the nappie as soon as it got wet. Some baby wipes made the eczema worse, same for a particular brand of nappies. Eventually we switched to cotton nappies during the daytime and that helped. For the rest it was a matter of watching her diet. Trial and error tought us she has an intolerance for wheat, dairy and egg white. She is six now and her eczema will flare up if she has too much of any of them.

Skin- and hair wise i used Weleda products for the first year and then she got washed and shampooed with Faith in Nature seaweed shampoo and shower gel. Faith in nature is very good but most of their products have essential oils in them and I would not use them on a small child or toddler bar the seaweed one.
    1.)Desitin (original/ overnight relief)-for nappy rash/diaper raash

2,)Johnsons cucumber melon, lavender (I favor the melon) shampoo %26amp; lotion

3.)JOHNSON'S庐 BUDDIES鈩?Easy-grip Sudzing Bar-convienant and good for skin

**If there is excema you should use mild soaps and syuff (all johnson products pretty much), and unscented if you can find, otherwise I am providong you with a link that will help you way out:)

Congrats and good luck, or whatever applies:)
Burt's Bees Baby wash (it smells like cream and honey, my 4-year old still uses it!) and unrefined coconut, olive, or sweet almond oil for moisturizing. These oils are all natural and very gentle so they don't irritate the skin or exacerbate existing skin conditions. Corn starch is excellent for preventing nappy rash and A%26amp;D ointment is great for treating it.
Gentle Naturals baby eczema cream works wonders!!! It's got pooh and tigger on the bottle I think.

I've tried lots of diaper cream and my fave is Desitin!

And I use Baby Magic. I lathered it up and put it right on my eyeball to make sure it wouldn't burn. My daughter gets the suds in her eyes all the time and it's never bothered her.
    Johnson%26amp;Johnson babywash

A%26amp;D ointment or ButtPaste for diaper rash

Johnson%26amp;Johnson has a bedtime lotion for baby's that smells great and helps them relax. My son loves it (and it smells so good, I ';steal'; some often).
johnson products are very good for baby's like the johnson head to toe body wash. it's especially made for baby's and if the soap gets to his/her eyes it won't sting and it smells really good
Eucerin Orginal. It's not baby but it's good for their skin.
    E45, Johnsons .

Hi Celia, I use the Japanese-made DHC skin-care products which are wonderful. Here in the U.S., they are based in San Francisco; they mainly sell through mail-order. I don't know if they mail to Europe, but it's worth a try.

Just google DHC skin care and see what you come up with.

See a dermatologist for best results. They have pretty strong acne medicine, they can prescribe you, that's right for your skin type. They can also give you like medicated face wash, and stuff. It worked for my sister!
    The only product that really works is ';Abrione's ';Vanishing Point 7.5';

you wont be dissapointed it may seem pricey but for the results you get it's really worth it

go to a dermatologiest. When i had acne the dermatologist told me to use cetaphill cleanser and moisturizor...I'll let you know which other 2 prescriptions he gave me

How did they work? Was their customer service good?Has you ever tried Hydroderms skin care products? How did they work? and was their customer service good?
I cannot tell you about other lines but the skin care regimen I use is ARBONNE, specially their antiaging care which is wonderful. the best thing is that they are formulatted with botanical principles and formulatted without mineral oil, animal prooducts or fragrances which all these ingredients are very harmfull for our skin.. Mineral oil is the 2nd worse thing we could do to our skins health for it is like rubbing car oil on our skin and exposing ourselfes to the sun, animal products come from dead animals and these come from rendering plants these plants pick all dead animal and dead animal parts (from meat houses, etc.) and they put it in a huge pot, squash everything and boils it, what ever comes to the top is the oil other companies use to elaborate thier products, gross I know...the lipstick... ewww anyway, that is why i use botanically based products which is way much better because they get absorbed and the nutrients inside the products is what helps our skin look and feel healthy... check it out it is called ARBONNE and i buy them online at: http://arbonnepuertorico.myarbonne.com ...under shop online.... and you could even ask for a free sample for their anti aging line with no need to buy anything i have herd hydroderms have charged people without their permission and have some problems....http://www.complaints.com/directory/2005鈥?/a> .... anyway, Arbonne is not sold in stores but it is a great way to buy becasue they have this money back guarantee if for some reason there is something you do not like form the products you get your money back guarantee (within 45 days from purchase) so you have nothing to loose.... only some lines;~)Has you ever tried Hydroderms skin care products? How did they work? and was their customer service good?
This is all you need, Excellent and Excellent!! Highly recommended!

What is the proper order to use skin care products in?

If you're using cleanser, toner, exfoliator, a face mask, spot gel and moisturiser what order are you meant to use them in? :SWhat is the proper order to use skin care products in?
    CLEANSE to remove make up

CLEANSE AGAIN to remove dirt and and impurities

EXFOLIATE to remove dead skin cells

    FACE MASK

TONER to remove any cleanser, exfoliator or mask from the skin

    MOISTURISE

SPOT GEL to be applied to the affected areas.

You only need to exfoliate once or twice a week same goes for a face mask.

Always remember to cleanse twice, as the first time will only remove the make up the second time will actually cleanse the skin. What is the proper order to use skin care products in?
glad you asked because doing things in a wrong order can not only mess up your face but it can feel like its not working and look that way to so the correct order would be to wash your face with wat ever face wash you have 4 example a bar of soap although i wouldn't recommend unless you have an oily face step 2 would be to put toner because even though it might feel like all that dirt is of your face its really not alot could be in your pores and a toner helps remove that step 3 would be to

moisturise remember moisturising is a very important part keeps your face looking healthy if you can find a moisturiser that has spf to help with the sun and your complexion that would make it even better step 4 is optional its to add your acne medisane like i know thers this new one called Epiduo.its to help with mild acne but if your not stressed with that's its all good but any ways if your not up to all this they have clean and clear packs , nutragena packs , pro active and so on that have steps on the back to tell you what to do hope that helpz!!!! luv vanz
Use a cleanser first to clean your skin. Then a toner which will close your pores a little bit so that they don't become so easily blocked. Splashing cold water on your face has exactly the same effect as a toner and is free from the tap. Then moisturise your face. Use the spot gel on individual spots, wipe away excess lotion from the area first.

To put on a face mask do it after you have cleaned your face. Then put on toner and moisturiser.

Use the exfoliating cleanser in place of the cleanser, but only once or twice a week because it takes a while for your skin to grow new cells and you could cause damage and dry out your skin otherwise.
For the morning time I would have to say cleanser, toner, then moisturizer. If you have any bad spots then moisturizer then spot gel. For the evening I would use a cleanser or a face mask, not both. Especially if you have dry skin. If you have oily then a cleanser and mask could be ok. Cleanser first, then mask 2nd. After I would use a toner, and spot gel. I usually dont moisturize at night. And for exfoliating, I would only exfoliate 1-4 times a week. Exfoliaters remove dead skin and also help to rejuvianate your skin but it can dry it out if you overly use it.

I really hope this helps =]
manuel exfoliaters (with grains) ONLY 0-2 times weekly depending on if you have acne.. if you have acne, skip it. dont make it up another day...I like to use it in the morning. USe that BEFORE cleansing, then do your regular routine: CLEANSER, (mask if it was one of those 2 times a week of exfoliating- mine is monday and friday morning...if I dont exfoliate bc of pimples, i at least use mask if just primes your face really well), TONER, spot gel (if required on pimples)...stuff capitalized is regular twice a day, morning and night

    \

you should also think of protection or moisturizer after toning.
Well, for day time....cleanser, toner, moisturizer. At night cleanse, mask, toner, spot gel and then moisturizer. Only exfoliate your face 1-3 times per week, and it should be done after your cleanser.
exfoliate then cleanse, tone, face mask, moisturise and spot gel.

    everyday cleanse tone and moisturise.
exfoliate, face mask, toner, cleanser, moisturizer, spot gel.

Is it better to have never used skin care products in your life ?

Because my mother never used any products like scrubs, foaming wash, skin toners, moisturizing creams and her skin is beautiful

my skin is so so, not very uniform and and I'm wondering if should really bother with those products since I'm at a turing point in my life = 24, my skin is still youthful but will get older and older in the years to come, so what is the best thing to do for my skin ?Is it better to have never used skin care products in your life ?
Yes, I am 50 and look about 30. Do not smoke cigarettes. You will look like an old hag after 3 years of smoking regardless of age.Is it better to have never used skin care products in your life ?

Maybe, maybe not. However, if you don't regulary clean and exfoliate your skin can become greasy and dull. Exfoliation boosts blood circulation while cleansing skin removes dirt, grease and residue.

The natural oils in your skin could clean itself, though.

Does anyone know how to get rid of pimples without any facial skin care products?

i have a couple of pimples on my forehead,i need to get rid of them by Friday can anyone help me please?Does anyone know how to get rid of pimples without any facial skin care products?
I am a Registered Nurse and I specialize in skin care and teen acne.

After 12 years in this profession I find that most of my patients who deal with acne or brekout problems DO NOT SEE RESULTS from commercial products sold at drung stores or the mall. They usually contain too much benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid or sulfur which tends to OVER DRY the skin and cause itching or irritations.

Also, home remedies such as lemon juice or alcohol or toothpaste SHOULD NEVER BE USED because they cause small tears in the skin and leave the skin more susceptible to bacteria that causes pimples or acne.

Your question is very broad and you need to get professional advice. I will explain why it's a broad question!

Your age plays a role! Do you always have breakouts?

However, acne can result from several factors such an increase in hormone levels. In males testosterone or androgens. In females, androgens respectively. The increase in androgen levels can stimulate the oil glands to become enlarged and thus more oil production is produced. An increased oil production can clog the pores with oil or sebum ( white thick substance) which cause the cell walls of the pores in the skin to breakdown. This process allows bacteria to form and thus breakouts develop.

Genetics may also be a cause. It is a myth that greasy food or chocolate causes breakouts.

However, using make-up sponges that are not changed or washed often can contaminate the pores with bacteria which may develop into acneic breakouts.

Teenagers going through hormonal and growth changes are prone to acne.

If you have severe breakouts than you might need medication. There are many factors.

The most important thing is that you need products that are AGE APPROPRIATE! Every age group has different products appropriate for them. If you are young than you need milder products as to not dry out your beautiful young skin.

The problem with commercial skin products is that they are manufactured for MASSES OF PEOPLE and are not specifically made for different peoples' needs.

Your skin type is different than mine and your age differs from mine so how is it logical that we both use the same skin product for breakouts. We need different strengths of cleansers and toners. Do you kind of understand what I am getting at?

Here is my STRONG SUGGESTION for you. I refer all my students and patients to this website:

    www.aboutyourskincare.com

You need to consult with professionals and on this website YOU CAN ASK QUESTIONS FOR FREE AND A SKIN EXPERT/PHYSICIAN WILL ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS. It would be a shame if you dont take advantage of this free service.

Lastly, they have incredible products for breakouts and they make them specifically for every kind of skin type. That means that if your breakouts are more severe than mine, than while we both will buy the same product yours will have stronger ingredients than mine will.

They have a mild glycolic acid cleanser that's great for your type of skin and also a DRYING LOTION ( I have 3 bottles) that you put directly on your breakouts and the next day it's gone. It's truely magic in a bottle.

A basic guideline for properly taking care of your skin is this ( now if you're a young girl you will need fewer products than this):

    Night time:

    1. Exfoliate the skin

    2. Mild Glycolic Acid Cleanser

    3. Mild Glycolic Acid Toner ( cleans off the excess debris and balances the PH level of the skin).

    4. Drying Lotion used only on breakouts

    5. Moisturizer

    Morning:

    1. Mild Glycolic Acid Cleanser

    2. Moisturizing cream

The above is a standard you may need to only use one or two products. Visit: www.aboutyourskincare.com

As I suggested and click on the ASK FOR FREE section send them an email and you will get free expert skin care advice.

    Good Luck to you,

MichelleDoes anyone know how to get rid of pimples without any facial skin care products?
when ur in the shower rub ur face while shampooing. i do that and have had a clear complexion since doing it for like a year now. oh and dont put ur hair in a poy tail because it causes ur face to become oily for some reason but at the same time keep ur hair outta ur face
Have u tryed not washing your face with anything like me i have to not wash my face just get a wet wash cloth and wipe it off good but dont use anything but u can still use make up but no soap or lotion or anything and my face has been acne free since i was 13 cause b4 then i had the worst acne ever i swore i looked like a pizza face lol but now its all good smooth and pimple free
hi dear. just follow old is gold technique. A mixture of saffire, alovera, turmeric powder, rose water or soya milk gives best results. use it as a face pack daily, before u sleep. wash it off after 15-20 min. result may b slow( 2-3 weeks), but it prevents acne completely.TRY IT......*,*......
lemon juice and basil or toothpaste. the lemon juice and basil stings, but it works. The best thing is really just getting a sun burn. Even though it's bad for you, it's a fool proof way to get rid of pimples fast.
wash your face 2 times a day, and dont wear any make up, and get lots of sun on your face. it will clear up right away.

and of course, you might have to pop them int he sun doesnt clear them up.
i guess you could try hydrogen peroxide on them, it drys the area out and hopefully kills the pimple, that's all i know that could work..good luck
Wash your face with a mild soap and don't touch them because oils from your hands will get on them.
drink lots of water it should make your skin less oily and the pimples should dissipate.
    Baking soda and water. :)

Are these skin care products safe during pregnancy?

Hi - I'm hoping to get pregnant in the near future, and would like to know if anyone is aware if Shi' Jano skin care products and products containing AHA's are safe to use during pregnancy. Thanks. Are these skin care products safe during pregnancy?
Since there are so many skin care products available these days, it would be impossible to answer this, without knowing all the ingredients in the product. I am sure there must be contact information on the packaging, either by phone or email. Please contact the company and ask for a list of all ingredients. Then, once you have that list, call your gynecologist and/or your dermatologist, to ask this question. Pregnancy is too precious a time to hope that one of us on Yahoo answers could answer this correctly. I do know that AHA's can make your skin more sun sensitive, but brief web searches show nothing else. Until you get to the doctors, try to hold off on pregnancy, until you get their opinions. In the meantime, you can do websearches for things like ';AHA skin care during pregnancy';. If you have ever used Accutane, speak to your gynecologist before trying to become pregnant. Are these skin care products safe during pregnancy?
You are most welcome, Penny. I am glad to help when I can. Report Abuse

You don't need to worry about that yet, since you're not pregnant and you need to talk to your doctor about that

Are there any good skin care products for men?

Why should women get to have all the fun? I am 31 and I believe at the age where I need to perhaps not take my skin for granted. So I wanted to try any good products that may be available for men. Keep in mind I have never ever done products before except for after shave lotion perhaps.

I know Nivea and Gillette have some mosturizers for men but thats about all I know of.Are there any good skin care products for men?
Basically you want to do 3 things as a man to keep your skin in peak condition. 1st is exfoliate the dead skin and remove bacteria with a exfoliating lotion massaged in with your hands for about 60 seconds. 2nd thing is a cleansing lotion to clean the skin of its impurities and revitalise it, you can use a non alcaholic one as alcahol ages the skin. Finally you want to moisturise the skin with a good Ph balanced cream that has ingredients close to nature as possible.

In conjunction with shaving with a good quality shaving gel and razor every day or other day this is really all you need. Im assuming you take hot baths or showers daily as the steam helps unclog pours and removes blackheads.

You should also perform some cardio vascular excercise 3-5 times a week for an hour to help with circulation and general health of your skin. A clean diet and plenty of water doesnt hurt either. Are there any good skin care products for men?
If you are looking for moisturizing products, try Cetophil.

I have dry skin and their products work great. Bar cleansers, lotions, and creams.

It's an over-the-counter product and available at drug and discount stores.

I would like to suggest Arbonne products. There is a whole line just for men. This is an antiaging line.

In this set included is a wash, toner, shave cream, and a sunscreened moisturizer. This line does have great results seen by me personally my husband and father both use this and have had results. If you are interested in trying this line please email me and I can send you a sample to try.
Of course there are good skin care products for men! Cudos to you for wanting to take care of your appearance.

Different skin care types have different needs so you need to identify what treatments would best fit your lifestyle and skin care needs.

The first and foremost best treatment for all skin care needs, whether man or woman, is sunscreen each and every day. It is the sun that creates most of the skin damage that over the years results in wrinkles and age spots among a host of other unsightly skin conditions.

Men have an advantage in the skin care department because they shave. That is really an wonderful way to exfoliate the skin to get rid of all the dead skin cells. It makes your skin look brighter and healthier.

But now you need to take the next step... a scrub, a toner and... yes, you do need a moisturizer!! I listed a source that has a variety of good recommendations for skin care products specifically formulated for men. (Simple yet effective!)

Once you establish a simple routine for yourself , you will be amazed at how much better your appearance will be. (Exercise, drinking LOTS of water and diet all contribute a bit as well!)

    Good Luck!

What are the best hair care / skin care products - lotions shampoos etc?

I'm planning to get my girlfriend some hair care / skin care products for her birthday. I don't want just average stuff, I want the BEST -- the stuff that will make her feel like her hair is healthy and shiny etc. And the lotion that is good for her skin and all that.

What are some really good skin care products that arent too much money, clear acne, and leaves skin looking amazing! What do you use and why is it soo good? (I have combination skin)What is the best skin care products?
clear.now! it's a 3 step acne care system that combines salicylic acid with sodium chlorite to turn sebum (oil that clogs pores) into a mixture of salt and water so it's easier to keep your face clear of acne. It's also non-drying (although you still need to moisturize) and very effective. It's great for all skin types and if you buy it from the link at the bottom you can get it in Canada!

Should men use skin care products that are made for girls?

I want to know if it is okay for guys to use skin care products that are made for girls like vichy creams. Guys don't really have that much skin care products this days. like facial care, rejuvenation creams and all that. Girls what do you think?Should men use skin care products that are made for girls?
    it does not matter.

skin care products are typically advertised towards girls,

since they are typically the biggest customers.

but it's not like you're going to turn into a girl if you use female skin care products.

they are made for anyone's skin.

so go for it.Should men use skin care products that are made for girls?
skin care products are usually made and marketed for women because we buy them. The main difference in skin between men and women is that men have larger pores (with coarser hair) and generally slightly oilier skin. They also don't have the hormonal breakouts that women do. Most skin care products are fine for both sexes, the difference in the products will usually be in fragrance and packaging. Some men will have more sensitivity due to frequent shaving.
i think guys should use whatever they need. i hate it when a guy refuses to take care of them selves
It doesn't matter lol as long as you keep yourself clean (=

Are Philosophy skin care products good and worth it?

I saw on different websites and also from people that philosophy products for face ( cleansers, protective creams, etc) are really really good. I have sensitive skin a little oily and prone to breakouts.. should I try philosophy or something else? thanks! Are Philosophy skin care products good and worth it?
I work at Nordstrom in the cosmetics department and I have tried MANY different face products. Philosophy is the only one that I purchased more than once. I use their face wash and moisturizer as well as their face mask/peel. I love it. I have oily/sensitive skin and this makes it look clear, healthy and matte. I say try it out!Are Philosophy skin care products good and worth it?
Try it for yourself and forget what people say..For years people kept telling me how great Biotherm was and when I used it for a month..it made my face rougher and the moisturizer for dry skin was terrible..

Ultimately, only your own skin can be the judge.

I have been hearing lots of good things about Olay Regenerist. That line has alot of products, so I was wondering what to use to cleanse and moisturize (daily). Have you tried the Regenerist line ? What do you recommend? Do you like/don't like it?. (I also have sensitive skin.)

Before you purchase a bunch of different products, why don't you invest in a good dermatologist and let them tell you what is best for you and your skin type. They are the experts and by the time you spend the money buying all the different products you could have paid for the dermatologist visit. I have been seeing the same dermatologist for over 20 years and it is well worth the money and I have a feeling she has saved me alot of money over this time period. Since you have sensitive skin I would really think about this.
    Hello,

I've tried many and I am trying StriVectom-SD amd it seems tp to be working well. I also tried Hydroderm and did not like it. It is to strong for my skin. I like to get samples first to see if i like the feel.

There are many different products from here that work great. At minimuim I would buy the bar soap, facial salt scrub, and mud mask. I use the bar soap every day, a few times a week, and the mask about every other week. They are great on sensitive skin!! May seem a little expensive at first, but I first bought my stuff in December and I'm no where near running out yet. And they always send free sample of their other products with every order.

What is the safest/best baby skin care products?

I just had a baby and I don't know what ti use? I think they all have chemicals in them. What is the safest/best baby skin care products?
We have a pediatrician and a dermatologist in the family. Both agree: Dove unscented soap for baths, Eucerin unscented lotions after the bath, Huggies UNSCENTED natural care baby wipes, fewer rashes from pampers than any other diaper. Basically you need to avoid perfume and dye in everything including laundry detergent (Tide Free) and liquid fabric softener (Downy unscented).

Best of luck to you with your new baby! What is the safest/best baby skin care products?
Burt's Bees is an all-natural brand or beauty products. They make a line of baby skin products called ';Baby Bee.'; It is a little more expensive than Johnson's but is natural and easy to get your hands on. You can find it in the Infant's section of Target. The products also smell really good and fresh!
I like Aveeno products. Most others break my son out in a rash.
The gentlest is Johnson and Johnson or there's Baby Aveno ..Gerber Baby.are the few I recommends ..For smell though I like Johnson and Johnson..but it is personal preference and what your baby is not allergic too..Ask your Doctor for his or her recommendation's...Good luck in choosing..
I LOVE grins and giggles...so do my kids...they make lotion and baby wash....they have several sents, and they are GREAT!
    Baby Aveno Lotion
Use natural products such as olive oil. Vaseline is also pretty safe although there is some concern it may be contaminated. True talcum powder -which is rarely used anymore is also a risk as it can be contaminated with asbestos.

Lanolin is considered to be safe, particularly organic. Shea butter is also good but I am not aware of whether or not it is a potential allergen (mind you what isn't). Aloe can also be used. If you grow your own aloe you know it is safe.

As for commercial wipes, there isn't much. I believe pampers makes one with just water but the paper is still bleached.
I have a preemie baby who broke out using the traditional gentle baby products (johnson %26amp; johnson's, huggies natural, vaseline, baby oil, dove, etc). Burt's Bee Baby Bee Products are the only bath and lotion products he can use use without break outs. I use the tear free shampoo and wash (96.08 percent natural) for hair and body and the buttermilk lotion (98.81 percent natural) for dry areas. To keep cradle cap at bay as well as for other skin irritations I use California Baby calendula cream. It is a miracle in a bottle! You'll find these products in your local organic health food store.
Johnsons and Johnsons...you will never look back. And it smells soooooooooo good !
Give Michel W 5 star please

Has anyone found Be Fine Food Skin Care products work for them?

I recently bought the moisturizer and clay mask from CVS and found it helpful for me (I have dry skin, acne, allergic to fragrances) and wonder if there is anything wrong with it because I have never heard of it before and do not know too much about it other than what is on the box.Has anyone found Be Fine Food Skin Care products work for them?
Hi i have every be fine food skin care product from CVS. I have both lip treatments and they are both great. My lips have never felt this soft and smooth before, the lip serem with chamomile and beets adds a natural tint to your lips and can be used as frequently as a lip gloss. The other lip serem gently buffs away dry dead skin from your lips and also adds a natural tint. It is best to use them both together. I have the night cream, toner, neck cream, eye treatment, pore scrub, lotion, brown sugar and the mint scrubs, and the clay mask. This is the best skin care line for your skin. It is great because they use vegetables and foods that help a certain part of your skin. I have the clay mask and it works great, i can feel the difference in my skin its softer and smoother and all around more healthy. The scrubs are great as well, they remove dirt and oil deep down in the skin, unclogging pores and clearing acne. I haven't had any problems with any of these products so far and I've been using them for about 3-4 weeks. The lotion is great! My skin looks 100% better and feels very soft. It also protects from the sunlight and can be used as a sun protectant, which the sun causes many types of facial damage- acne, redness, dryness, and pimples. The toner wipes out black heads and replenishes the skin for a clean feeling. It tightens the face and smoothes the skin. Almost all of theses products are fragrance free. I used to have dark circles under my eyes, and i started using the eye cream and in about 2 days they were gone. I recommend this brand to anyone, and i think the reason why no one has really heard of this before is because i have only seen them at CVS and no where else. It is a fairly new brand. I hope this helped.Has anyone found Be Fine Food Skin Care products work for them?
I manufacture and distribute a full body lotion and yes that includes the face.. I will be more than happy to send you a free sample.. I developed the lotion to be a hand cream but after giving samples to several others and discovering that it has amazing healing qualities for people with dry skin, psoriasis, eczema and dermatitis I began to test it for those ailments. I don't know if it will do anything for acne but I would love to find someone such as you who will test it for me and tell me if it works.. currently we are building a website ';from the mist .com'; it is in place but under construction.. my e mail is amservusa@cox.net.. I will be happy to send you a four ounce bottle for testing.. the name of the product is essentia-lx. All I need is an address. NO money, no credit card, no promise, no nothing.. just provide me with an address and I will send it.. once you get it, you can reach me at any of several numbers I will provide.. JW Horne

Do any of you have recommendations on skin care products for oily skin?

Hi! I have oily skin, large pores, and lots of black heads on my nose and cheek area. I wanted to know about any skin care products that would help my skin to become less oily and that would help my pores to be unclogged so the appearance of the blackheads would be less, and maybe even shrink the pores too.

But I would like the recommended products to be reasonably priced, nothing pricey because I don't have that kind of money to be buying expensive products.

thanks in advanced!Do any of you have recommendations on skin care products for oily skin?

Can everyday skin care products cause brain damage long term?

    Hello,

I was wondering if everyday skin care products like sunscreen, face wash, and moisturizer etc, can cause brain damage over time?

Are they eventually excreted from the body?

Thanks in advance! Can everyday skin care products cause brain damage long term?
no, they do not cause brain damage. all skin care products have been tested (not on animals) and if they were to cause brain damage, it would be illegal to sell. Can everyday skin care products cause brain damage long term?
Not sure how these methods are supposed to cause neurological damage (If we ignore the long term, high dose cortison creams) :P.

First of all, the products should be well tested, and clearly they avoid using substances known to cause harm.

  • Are there any good natural skin care products that really work?

I would like to find a moisturizing lotion for my face that is natural and good for my skin. I have normal to slightly dry skin. It can be somewhat sensitive to some products, but is not prone to blemishes, just sometimes a little redness or rash that goes away. Ironically, the products that will cause this are often the ones that claim to make skin younger looking. Are there any good natural skin care products that really work?
origins or aveda! almost 100% organic and soo good for your skinAre there any good natural skin care products that really work?
    kiehls!

you can buy it at any kiehls store. i think they sell it at some department stores, also. if you can't find any kiehls stores around your area just go to kiehls.com.

their products are great. i have really sensitive skin and kiehls lotions and creams are really lightweight. they're not greasy and leave your skin feeling soft. also, if you buy the scented lotion you can smell the scent all day. it's not incredibly strong, and smells really light.

they also have facial care, sunscreen, and other stuff of the sort. i've never had any problem with any of it.

the only downside is that they're kind of expensive. i use their products in moderation. i use the lotion almost everyday, but i only use the shampoo and conditioner every once in a while.

if that doesn't work, i'd reccomend burts bees. it's sold in various stores. their products are all natural (it even says the percentage of how natural it is) and they're great for sensitive skin.

    i hope i helped :]
I use ';Frosting Forever'; by Temptations. I bought it at Bath and Body Works (found in most malls) or at www.bathandbodyworks.com And they have so many different scents from Iced Tea to Strawberry and all of them work great. They're good priced too. Good luck!

P.S. They're not tested on animals! Yay!

the clear complexion face products? How do you like Aveeno skin care products?
My experience with Aveeno products is they are great for sensitive skin but if you don't have sensitive skin, you probably could use something a little strong for your complexion. Here's what some other people think though: http://www.viewpoints.com/search?q=aveen…How do you like Aveeno skin care products?
I like the face wash and lotion a lot. The first one or two times I used them my face was slightly red but went away quickly ( I have very sensitive skin) and my skin really cleared up. Someone mentioned the smell, the lotions smells a little like grapefruit but is not too strong. I recommend you give it a try. Good luck!
Yea.. I tried the same product, aveeno clear complexion, and it absolutely did nothing for me. I used the soap bar and the lotion and I think the lotion actual made me breakout more. I don't know why... but it could of been something else... but you should try and see if it works for yourself.
I love Aveeno body lotion it really lasts throughout the day and it is not greasy and absorbs into the skin quickly. I also like the Aveeno eye brightening cream.
I use the ..positively radiant face wash, and face lotion and it works really nicely for me
I think they work pretty well, but they smell strange to me...
Ehhh, not a big fan. At least it's cheap though.

Yes, I have used the Renee Rouleau skin line on and off for years. But I always go back to it, because it's been the best line for my skin. Where should I start to find good skin care products for men?

Guys, I have previously posted the following question(How to get Skin color(darkened by sun) improved):

Well, Good response and thanks to everyone. I have not tried any cleansing , exfoliator products in USA yet.. been using Jergens moisturizer.. I have gone to CVS today and looked at Skin Care products.. uhhhh!.. there are lots of options... I was confused on what to pick...so returned and posting a question out here... So, I heard about Cataphil moisturizer, Clinique skin care, Proactive.. having gone through clinique site, I see there are two options to give a try..

    1. Clinique 3-Step.. Not sure if this works on men

    2. Clinique's mens Combo of a. Scruffing Lotion, b. M lotion and c. Liquid Face Wash Extra-Strength

What are these exfoliators? Not sure if I understand them.

Im also looking for a liquid foundation.. are they different for men and women ?

Thank you so much!!!!!!Where should I start to find good skin care products for men?
First of all, get Neutrogena alcohol-free toner (and some cotton balls to apply it). I don't actually know what it specifically does, but it has really improved my face. The skin just looks a lot healthier now. I know tons of people who have used it and report similar results. Apply it in the morning after you have showered, it will probably be the first thing you apply after any cleaning products.

Change your pillowcase every day, and every week change your sheets and wash your pillow. You will be amazed how much this helps.

Regarding specific products, it depends entirely on your skin. You have to test them out to see how they will work for you. The same applies to cologne - it may smell good on a piece of paper, but it doesn't start working until it mixes with the chemicals in your skin.Where should I start to find good skin care products for men?

Your skin is constantly renewing itself. Skin cell renewal occurs every 15 to 30 days. Here's how it works: Plump, fresh cells develop in the bottom or basal layer of the epidermis, then make their way up to the surface or stratum corneum. Eventually these cells dehydrate and flatten until they slough off and are replaced by new cells.

As we age, this renewal process tends to slow. It can also be affected by certain skin disorders, including dermatitis and psoriasis. This is why it is important to scrub off dead skin cells off so a new layer of skin will have room and you'll have newer skin if you are consistent with this.

YOU WANT TO USE PRODUCTS ON YOUR FACE THAT HAVE NATURAL INGREDIENTS MOSTLY SEED EXTRACTS AND LESS HARMFUL CHEMICALS.

HOPE THIS WILL BE ABLE TO HELP YOU IF NOT LEARN ABOUT YOUR SKIN INSTEAD AND THE LINK BELOW WILL HELP YOU WITH THAT.
Cetaphil liquid cleanser is really gentle on even the most sensitive skin like myself. And I'd read in a book called Don't Go to the Cosmetics Center Without Me by paula begoun that mixing a little bit of baking soda with the cetaphil can be used as a facial scrub (but only 1-2 x a week I believe). And in the book, paula mentions how using an alpha hydroxy (glycolic, lactic, malic, tartaric) cleanser is a big waste of time since it just literally goes down the drain. A beta hydroxy, btw, is the salicylic acid (from aspirin) that seems to help with acne blemishes.

  • At what age should I start using anti-aging skin care products?

I just turned 26 and I'm wondering at what age I should trade in my regular moisturizer with sunscreen for an anti-aging one with sunscreen and a night anti-aging moisturizer. At what age should I start using anti-aging skin care products?
Which ever age you truly start to age and get wrinkles. Usually its around your 30's.At what age should I start using anti-aging skin care products?
I was 23yrs old when I started using anti-aging cream for my face. I think you can use it when you think it's the right time. I would suggest ROC anti-aging cream, it has sunscreen plus you can use in the morning and at night. Report Abuse

I use anti-aging stuff already and I'm only 21. My friend sells Mary Kay and at one of her parties she went on and on about how your skin starts to lose elasticity at 22. I freaked and bought some anti-aging moisturizer and eye cream. It's more expensive, but I like it better than the stuff I was using before.
    You should start now
It's never too early! We start losing elasticity and collagen in our skin from day one... so it's never really too early to start preventing wrinkles. It's much easier to prevent than correct damaged skin. Sunscreen is a must, daily. Even if you think you're not out in the sun much the little bit of incidental exposure you get is doing more harm than you think. One product that is great for prevention is Vitamin C. Not all Vitamin C's are created equal so make sure you get one that is L-ascorbic acid, the only form of C the skin can use. SkinCeuticals has VERY nice C Serums.
Most skin damage happens in your 20s.
round this age if u are concerned! try regenerist it was chosen best in a blind study! i use olay regenerist products they have a good moisturizer with sun screen! 4 daytime and also one 4 night! (works as u sleep)
The time you see wrinkles on your face. If your parents are alive, ask them at what age they got wrinkles, and start like a year before.
I started mine at 30..good to take care of yourself from the start
you should start as early as possible to prevent wrinkles and aging signs from the start

I want to maintain a good clean face so I don't have to repair it when I'm older .

Me %26amp; my mom are going to Rite Aid, Target, and Walgreens tomorrow so I might have a chance to buy some of them .

    I need a good cleanser , exfoliater, moisturizer .

Keep in mind a kid like me doesn't have much money, thanks .What are some good skin care products for me?
i would say to use clean and clear foaming facial cleanser it really does work i use it it works in about 3 to 4 days 5 days tops i know they have it at walmart , target and maybe WalgreensWhat are some good skin care products for me?
Good you know your skin type.If u r short of money then why dont u try some home products for your skin care. I can vouch that they r going to be much effective

For cleansing u can use sugar or dried orange peels as exfoliaters and then use milk or home cream as toner, even glycerine with rose water works wonder.

Above all this have a good routine of drinking lots of water and wahing face as many times as u can.

Have adequate sleep and sleep with no makeup on
Have u had this new cleanser the Added Neutrogena Wave? it's really good and it does help to make ure skin good and clear =]

    And ProActiv too

Why do we use skin care products?

I mean there are thousands of brands out there. I can use normal water to wash my skin anyway. Is there benefits using skin care products? Why do we use skin care products?
I never ever gave it much thought - until I started to turn 35 and lines appeared - this past year I have learned a tremendous amount about skin care and all the crap some brands use.

    (Petroleum or mineral oils)

I really suggest investigating pure and natural products -

every thing is so individual so what I suggest may be wonderful but you may not think so - water is good but you need to get off impurities in the skin - men shave so they remove things - with soap/creams - it's important to moisturize too - we lose so much from the sun, and wind.

Sounds crazy but suddenly father time shows up and you may regret not adding some spf or eye cream -

I am all about a hydrating soap, toner and eye cream

and repeat at night with a night cream. Why do we use skin care products?
yes because the facial cleanser washes away bacteria and tightens the pores fighting away the new bacteria.
Rosacea is a common skin condition that affects mRosacea is a common skin condition that affects many Americans, but it can also spread to the eyes and cause a constant gritty, burning sensation. I have dry skin and have fought with rosacea all my life. I have been in search a product that works on my skin, I am now 37 and I finally found it. I use the ZENMED Skin Support System - Dry Skin and I saw results in days! I recommend it to anyone who has suffered through various dermatologist prescribed Reasonably priced and very effective acne solution.

Depending on the purpose, they wash away bacteria that simply water cannot. If it has Salicylic Acid, it helps dry up and prevent acne, etc. If you only ';washed'; your face with water every day, you would not be cleansing your skin. Different products are used to help different types of skin problems.
Water doesn't clean away odors or dirt from you skin you need soap and water to make you look and feel fresh and clean.

What are some facial skin care products that don't have petroleum in them?

My skin has become extremely sensitive due to GLOBAL WARMING and I feel very determined to change my entire skin care line from Neutrogena to a more trusted brand.. what's out there.. pure coconut, carrot, olive, shea, or something a long those lines.. thanks! What are some facial skin care products that don't have petroleum in them?
There's a range of skincare products called Miessence. They are 100% certified organic and definitely DO NOT contain petroleum. AND they are a carbon neutral company so they don't leave their carbon footprint on the world either.

They do their ordering on line and you get things delivered to you very quickly. I've had things sent to me in the States as well as Australia.

Also, if you check out the website (I've put it in the 'Source' section) there's a lot on other environmental information there.

    Hope this helps,

Do you ever change skin care products and breakout? or is it just me?

I have been using Lancome for a long time - and of course, it is pretty pricey. So every now and then I say to myself that I want to spend less on skin care products. And sometimes I hear from some magazines / websites that brand names and drug store brands really don't have much differences... However, everytime I switch to other brands, such as oil of olay, I break out after a couple of weeks - is this normal?Do you ever change skin care products and breakout? or is it just me?
I have the same problem. I think it's because your skin becomes reliant on the Lancome, and pretty basically freaks out when your routine changes. Having switched brands several times, it always causes me to break out. It's quite a painDo you ever change skin care products and breakout? or is it just me?
    yes.
yea its normal try aveeno foaming face wash it doesnt over dry or over moisturize

  • What can I use to have clear skin, when I have sensitive skin that's allergic to most skin care products?

The doctors are useless so don't suggest that. Anything OTC I can use to avoid/prevent breakouts? (currently the only soap I can use that doesn't turn my face red and dry is a yellow bar soap called Purpose)

Thanks! What can I use to have clear skin, when I have sensitive skin that's allergic to most skin care products?
Amazing results can be had by washing your face with all natural Basic-H and then apply Herbal Blend Multi-Purpose Cream.

Hope this is helpful and feel free to contact me with questions. What can I use to have clear skin, when I have sensitive skin that's allergic to most skin care products?
use cetaphil, dove or neutrogena soap-they're all very mild and have frangrance free things too.
Sea Breeze for sensitive skin and a little cortisone cream all OTC.
I have allergies too and I use Clearasil Daily Face Wash for Sensitive skin. It has never caused me any problems, so you might want to give it a try.

Also, try Aveeno products. They are specifically designed and made to be hypo-allergetic, so it's excellent for people with sensitive skin and allergies. Aveeno can be a little pricey, but the products are excellent. I especially love, Aveeno Ultra-Calming Lotion to moisurize my face, it stings a little with the first couple of uses, but the burning itsn't too intense and it doesn't last long. The lotion makes my skin soft, it doesn't have an oiley residue, and it absorbs quickly. You only need to pump the dispenser once and it's enough for your whole face so the bottle lasts for a while. The only problem, like I stated before is that it's a little pricey, it's about $16 for a 4oz bottle, but it's well worth spending the money on.

Here's the Aveeno website, so you can get more info on their products. http://www.aveeno.com/index.jsp

You can use their Skin Care Advisor to choose your skin type and see what products they recommend.

And, no, I'm not a spoksperson or affiliated with Aveeno in any way. I just like their stuff!!!
Hve you tried oil of olay products??? They are supposed to be good for sensitive skin. I do believe they have a sensitive skin line as well.

You should try using different kinds of moisturizer one at a time until you find one that you really like. And you have to decide if you want to use day moisturizer or moisturize at night(I do both!).Get any day moisturizer with at least SPF 15 so you protect your skin. But make shure you face is allways clean before you put it on, or you'll probably break out.

    MY products I use are

1 I clean my face with stridex( with vitiams or it drys out my skin like crazy)

2 then I moisturize with Clinique ( use only a ver tiny amount)

3 then for my extra dry spots i use aveno/olay

4 try not to put oils on you skin but not touching it so much

5 don't fret, everyone get dry looking skin/ has some dry skin somewhere, so there are even some dermatoligy products you can use

    6 and finally

DON';T USE SO MANY FACIAL SCRUBS if u use them

I am so glad my mom convinced me to get it..it is awesome....read more on their site! Hope this helps...it is the ONLY thing that worked for me that was inexpensive! Not even Proactiv worked!

i love the tea tree oil facial wash from the body shop. i use it 3 times a week so i dont get pimples and the rest of the time i wash my face with the aloe face cleanser also from the body shop) and i uuse the aloe toner.. if you have a lot of acne you might wanna get the tea tree oil toner and moisturizer too

Wash your face twice a day with the tea tree oil cleanser for atleast a week and you will see good results!
Tetracycline. You need to go to a dermatologist, it is good to control acne and real skin problems which are caused by a bug, but, your family Dr. can also prescribe that antibiotic, it has been out a long time and is pretty cheap now. Professional can help you out the best. Over the counter things do not work if it really is acne and only a Dr. can tell you that for sure.
    http://www.lancome-usa.com/skincare/clea鈥?/a>
I like Neutrogena, and I heard that Proactive is one of the best.

Do Proactive Solution Skin Care Products really work?

I'm 18 and I have what I'd say is a medium amount of acne, it's not a lot, but enough! Does proactive really work? And I've heard that when you stop using it, your acne comes back worse, is this true? What else is a god solution to this amount of acne?Do Proactive Solution Skin Care Products really work?
I dont have that big of an acne problem, so i use it whenever i have some spotting. For me it works, even tho im not a regular everday user. Ofcourse, it might be different for you. My freinds and my younger aunt also use it sometimes and its worked for them most of the time.

    Procactive or not, just do these two things and im sure that lil bit of acne will go away;

    one- drink lots of water

two- wash your face more than twice a day, with a facewash made for acne removal.

Worked for me. Good luck!Do Proactive Solution Skin Care Products really work?
Proactive did not work for me.It made my face worst.I had to go to the doctor because it was actually getting worst. Report Abuse

I doubt it considering how Proactive solution does not exist. PROACTIV exists though and everyone I know who has used it has had issues. The people who are telling you that ';proactive'; works have obviously never used it and theyre lying their asses off.
I've used it for 3 years now and I wouldn't go a day without it. I've never found anything better, even knock-off Proactiv products. However, you have to continue to use it, or you'll tend to break out. I think your skin just gets so used to it. I love it though.
I would rather go with Cetaphil.
It does work... but you are kinda hooked for life. Remember in Catwoman, when Sharon Stone's character had to keep using that facial cream or else her face would deteriorate? It's the same kind of deal. I stopped using it because my acne was gone, only to find that my acne came back within days with a vengence. I believe that you should only use this product if you are willing to pay every month for it. If you want the cheap way to get rid of acne, just drink lots of water: it will get rid of acne and even give you a nice glow.
no, it made me break out worse. It dried my skin out really bad, I like the Johnson and Johnson clean and clear acne solution. It worked for me.
I have had 2 nieces and 1 nephew who had excellent sucess with Proactive. The trick is to keep using it!
It depends on the person, it works for me, but not for my sister. You have to keep using it steadily to prevent future breakouts.

What are the ingrediants in skin care products that help reduce the appearance of scars?

I don't know what's in all of those products, but honestly just use straight up Vitamin E oil. Get some gels capsules and poke a hole in one of them and apply it to your scar once a day, it works like a charm.

The best way to be good to your skin is to go natural. Anyone who has tried products that age and damage skin and has suffered side effects or just been disappointed in their effectiveness and then switched will tell you that.

There is nothing better or safer than massaging with essential oils - coconut oil is excellent. It naturally benefits skin in countless ways. It feeds it beneficial nutrients that keep it youthful and vibrant and ward off aging. You will see the results even in one day. Skin will tighten, start to glow and look and feel smoother. If we do not exercise face muscles, like all muscles, overtime, they become less effective and skin will loose tightness, sag, wrinkle and show other aging signs. It is best to thoroughly massage daily. In order to do so you have to tighten muscles and flex skin in the part being massaged and this exercises and conditions many of underlying face (and some neck) muscles whilst skin is being firmed, smoothed and toned by massage. This is the best treatment to prevent premature aging and even rejuvenate entire face. It's best to massage with a forward and back motion using finger tips and front and sides of fingers depending where you are massaging. It also helps prevent wrinkles and lines from appearing and if focus massage on those that are beginning to appear(not forgetting that you have to flex and tighten skin in area being worked on) they will not just fade them a little but greatly minimize them. Many have used this treatment and say, like I do, that they look years younger. See my many B.A.(Anti Aging, Wrinkles, Rejuvenation, Revitalizing Skin) some with users comments.

SOURCE(S): 20+years research into safe natural treatments/cures of skin, scalp and hair problems and anti aging/rejuvenation treatments.

Can anyone comment on what types of products people used back 50-100 years ago? Are most skin care products safe during pregnancy?

Hi, I am currently 10 weeks in pregnancy. I did not change the skin care products that I usually used as before. Recently, I start to concern whether these skin care products are healthy for my baby. But my friend told me since we only use small amount moisturize cream on my face, it should be safe? Can anyone tell me whether this is true. Thanks! Are most skin care products safe during pregnancy?
The products to avoid during pregnancy are Retinol (vitamin A cream used to fight acne) and some other topical ointments. Most are prescription only. I would say an over the counter, unmedicated moisturizer (such as Avon or Ponds or Oil of Olay or whatever) would be just as safe as body lotion, which is safe. Are most skin care products safe during pregnancy?
I agree with you. I use the oil of Olay skin renewal cleanser, it does have a little salicylic acid in it. But my ob said it was fine, since it was an actual cleanser that is washed off. ANd my dermotogist advised me to use stridex for sensitive skin with aloe when i was prego with my son 3 years ag Report Abuse

You'll be fine. I haven't changed since I got pregnant. You may find your skin changes, though with the pregnancy. My skin got SOOO much oilier so I wound up using the face pads twice a day.

With all the different skin care products out, how do you which is best for you?

I have to admit when I go down the skin care aisle at my store I do get a little overwhelmed.

There must be over a 100 different products for your skin. How do you know what to choose for your skin type and age? With all the different skin care products out, how do you which is best for you?
Figure out the exact problem you need to fix. Acne? Oily skin? Dry skin? Once you've got that figured out, you're already half way there.

As for age, I don't really think age matters. If you're 50 but you have adult acne, you can use Clean and Clear, even if it does seem targeted towards teens. Or if you're only 20 but you've got some premature skin aging going on, it's fine to use an Olay anti-wrinkle treatment. Age doesn't matter, if it solves your skin issues, it is good.

Once you know what you need to fix with your skin, move slowly through the aisles. Look on the labels to see what each product does. You'll be able to find products that will work for your skin problems. Then, once you've gone down the whole aisle (devote some time towards this!) write down all of the products that seemed as though they fit your needs. Then once you get home, look up reviews for them on makeupalley.com. Then you'll be able to figure out which work best, and you can go back to the store and buy them.

If your skin is nice already because of whatever you're doing now, keep doing it. I know personally that taking good skin and using products that you've never needed before can really take a toll on your skin and make it bad. With all the different skin care products out, how do you which is best for you?
When choosing skincare products and opting for more natural products, stick with a few of these tips and you'll be on your way to treating yourself and your skin naturally.

    # Search for products that are paraben-free and come in paraben-free plastic containers or bottles.

    # Look for the organic seal, a USDA approved logo. See if the product is 100 percent organic, since ';organic'; labeling has three levels (100 percent, 95 percent and 70 percent). The third category (70 percent) is usually noted as ';made with organic ingredients'; and these are very common.

    # Read the labels. If you can't pronounce half of the ingredients, this product is probably not the best option. Look for natural oils or scents such a lavender, grapefruit or honey.

    # Smell the product. Scent is what turns you on (or off) to a product. If it is organic, but it doesn't please your senses, don't purchase it. The product will likely go to waste.
Pure aloe vera gel is like miracle cream...at least for me I'd swear by it, you don't really need a moisturizer if you drink a lot of water.

Take care! Why are my skin care products giving me blemishes?
your probably using too much chemicals, maybe you should look at the ingredients and directions next time you purchase or use one.=)
I have had problems like that most of my life. I think some peoples skin is actually allergic to some of the ingredients in these products. I find that I am better off without most of them. I think that advertising gets you using more than you ever really need. Keep clean like you did before.
Could be all the dirt in your pores are coming to the surface from the cleanser so you are now breaking out as a result. Or your skin is sensitive to whatever is in the cleaning product. I think you should stop using the cleanser, stick with your former routine and just use moisturizer after you clean your face. If you want to try a different product then look for one for sensitive skin or one that is hypo allergenic.

What make-up, skin care products are available in Italy?

I will be moving there soon. I need to know what products are available. I am not rich by any means, So I do not want to spend a fortune for make-up. Are there shops that sell regular cosmetics for a good low price?

I am trying to get a handle on what will be available to me. And costs. What make-up, skin care products are available in Italy?
There are so many different products. Usually in the supermarkets you will find Nivea, Dove, Garnier, l'oreal etc for skin care. As for make-up you will find makes such as Rimmel etc There is a couple of italian makes called Deborah and Pupa, which have a range from skin care, lotions and make-up, which are reasonably priced.

Then in the perfumeries you will find the more expensive and exclusive ones.

As for prices, a face wash, cleanser and lotion for say nivea will cost 5 euro's for each product.

I'm not a big make-up wearer and usually buy sets so i'm afraid i can't hep you with prices.

What is a low-cost, but ultra-effective line of skin care products for men?

Preferably products that are known for anti-aging, wrinkle-minimizing benefits? I am a big Origins fan, but going broke dropping $100 every time I shop there! A little goes a long way with their stuff, but is there other product lines out that equally beneficial that is less expensive? I have fair, combination-type skin, some signs of pre-marture agins present, in my late 20s.What is a low-cost, but ultra-effective line of skin care products for men?
    Gillete skin care products!

Does anyone know of good skin care products that are inexpensive?

My acne really isn't that bad, but I do get those big bumps on my face that are hard to get rid of. I am only fourteen, so I usually don't have that much money in my wallet, and my mom doesn't like to buy me expensive products, especially acne systems. Does anyone know good skincare products, such as cleansers, astringents, and creams that are inexpensive? And please don't suggest Proactive or anything like that, because my mom refuses to buy it for me.Does anyone know of good skin care products that are inexpensive?
There's a product that is a knockoff of proactive called acnefree. Although it does come in a set, you can just purchase the cleanser and forget the rest of it. I know Walmart and Target sell it. I live in the Midwest, and here, an 8 oz bottle will cost you about $5 and last you a long time. In addition to that, I would use an astringent of some kind. I'm always amazed at the extra stuff astringent gets off my face. I use Clean n Clear and that usually costs about $2. Good luck dear!Does anyone know of good skin care products that are inexpensive?
I have delt with acne for many years. I get those pimples that stay under your skin for months before coming to a head. I have recently been using a bar of dove soap and IT ACTUALLY HELPS, except ofcourse during that lovely time of the month.;) My skin is oily and dry with the dove i do not use any moisturizer or anything just the bar. What I do is lather it on my face and use my loafa to scrup (not hard though). Hope this helps you.
There's this brand called Rachel Perry, and it's a natural soap..you could try it. They probably carry it at a health store or even a grocery store.

Also, taking a multi-vitamin and drinking just a little bit of apple cider vinegar diluted in water(disgusting, but works incredible wonders) are also stuff that's cheap and literally has worked miracles for me and my bro, and we have acne pretty severe.
See if you can get cortisone shots for the huge acne cysts, if you have health insurance and can see a dermatologist. Cystic acne cannot just be fixed with any over the counter product.

Is it OK to store skin care products in the bathroom cabinet?

It says on all my skin care products' package that the product should be stored in a cool, dry place, but once I open and start using the product, I always keep it in my bathroom cabinet, which is directly above the bathroom sink and next to the bathtub, does it mean that it's not an ideal place to store the skin care products(as its not always dry in the bathroom)? Where do you store your products? Is it OK to store them in the bathroom cabinet? Is it OK to store skin care products in the bathroom cabinet?
i dont know it's good or not but i always leave them there....Is it OK to store skin care products in the bathroom cabinet?
Are you older enough to vote? If you are I recommend that you abstain as you can not make a decision over whether its OK to store skin care products in a cabinet. So you are unable to decided on who should be in the government cabinet ;)
Well as long as these products are not continuosly exposed to high temps it should be fine.
Its okay to store it there. I store mine on my dresser well I don't really have any products I just have like four.
    Same...
i do that, i dont think its a big problem
